No idea but I know the last presidential election my paternal grandfather was alive for was 2008. It was my first time voting and he asked me if I was voting for "McCain or McCoon," and I just kind of slunked away embarrassed. My paternal grandmother in 2012 said she asked God who to vote for and God said "Obama," but I think the reality was she realized what the Republicans wanted to do with Medicare and Social Security.
Maternal grandma is a life-long Democrat.
