Indeed, or at least my reading of the Senate rules is the same as Yankee in this situation. With five votes in the affirmative and five votes opposed, the motion to table has been defeated.

Aye (5)Sad Senator TNF, Senator Cynic, Senator Cranberry, Senator Bore and Senator Polnut.
Nay (5)Sad Senator Yankee, Senator Deus, Senator Cassius, Senator JCL and President Pro-Tempore Lumine.
Abstained (0)Sad

Not Voting (0)Sad

This has enough votes to fail, Senators have 24 hours to change their votes.

With five votes against, two in support, two abstentions and one not voting, this fails to pass the Senate.

Aye (2)Sad Senator Cassius and Senator JCL.
Nay (5)Sad Senator TNF, Senator Bore, Senator Cranberry, Senator Polnut and Senator Cynic.
Abstained (2)Sad Senator Yankee and PPT Lumine.

Not Voting (1)Sad Senator Deus.
