Labour like nearly all 'socialist' parties in Europe are actually liberal parties in that I believe they have all repudiated their support of nationalizing key sectors of the economy.

For instance, here in Canada, the right leaning MacLean's Magazine as well as Andrew Coyne has said they can see no difference between 'Red' Liberals and the NDP. Obviously there are differences between 'blue' Liberals and New Democrats, however the 'Red' Liberals likely make up a fairly substantial majority of all Liberals, except perhaps for when they're in government.

Even in Australia and, I believe, New Zealand as well, the Labor Party has both a separate left wing and a right wing.

Public Radio International Story (PRI) on U.S U.K Party Strategists David Axelrod and Jim Messina.

Five or so minute story starting around the 28:30 mark.  Jim Messina is actually barely mentioned, but there are a couple amusing anecdotes about Axelrod.

April 29 edition.

Some of the other stories look interesting as well.

Edit, oops here it is!: http://www.pri.org/programs/the-world

So, let's say Tories get the most seats but are unable to form a government because the anti-Tory bloc is too large. Then, the question is whether SNP calls Milibland's bluff or gives him confidence without any deals. But, what happens if SNP doesn't get any deals from Labour and decides to vote down Labour as well? Does Sturgeon get a chance to form a gov then? Does Clegg?

Grand coalition?

2.Does anybody believe that people are lying to pollsters that they are supporting another party when they're actually going to vote British Union, errr, UKIP?

78% Labour
76% Conservative
72% Liberal Democrat

Your political beliefs would be considered Centrist on an ideological scale.

I haven't seen much mention of the strong possibility that if in fact both Labour and Tories are tied in national vote shares that should actually mean a Labour victory in terms of seats won over the Tories.  There doesn't seem to be much of a "tie equals Labour win" narrative.

Well, it's less true since Scotland events happened. Labour should lose 30 to 40 seats in Scotland to SNP.

At this point it looks like Labour will lose seats in Scotland they don't even hold to the SNP!
