SNP + Lab crossed the halfway point to a majority....if that means anything, lol.

Well, a sad day for NI politics--SDLP totally wiped out.  Not a single MP since...they first stood for seats, if I'm not mistaken?

Has Belfast South declared then? Have not seen it.

Went to DUP

Is there any reason for the DUP surge? I thought they would perform weakly, seeing their lackluster results in the NI assembly election.

Seems like the one bit of good news for Tory is the DUP surge in NI.....

It's so tragic (ironic) that Northern Ireland and Scotland just might end up saving the Conservative majority (or coalition)!

That's it all of NI is called with SF gaining Fermanagh & South Tyrone from UUP. UUP wiped out, SDLP wiped out.

Kind of goes hand in hand with other "middle" parties getting wiped out everywhere (around the world....).

Cons could form coalition with Lib Dems again, but I doubt the Lib Dems would want to after their campaign...

Anna Soubry states that May needs to "consider her position", argues the campaign was dreadful.

I wish sane Tories like her could take control of the party, but that's wishful thinking at this point.

Wasn't Ruth Davidson one of the most moderate Tories out there though?   She's really their hero tonight.   I'd hope they consider her success in Scotland as a way forward.

So Con + DUP coalition is the forgone conclusion here or can something else still happen?

Is Richmond Park a strong Lib Dem area?
