Not quite sure what to make of this. According to exit polls...

-Support for Stabenow was pretty uniform across age groups in 2006: http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2006/pages/results/states/MI/S/01/epolls.0.html and in 2012: http://www.cnn.com/election/2012/results/state/MI/senate
-In 2008, support for Levin among people >30 was far greater than those 30 or older: http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/results/polls/#val=MIS01p1 but he still won all age groups by well into double-digits
