Separate from her actual campaign, the pro-Clinton Super PACs will report having raised over $20 million for the year so far:

http://www.politico.com/story/2015/07/soros-helps-pro-clinton-super-pacs-to-20-million-haul-119669.html

Also, no total number from Sanders yet, but he reportedly raised ~$8 million online:

You're right.  The math doesn't work.  If the limit is $2700 per person, then the number her campaign is giving for % of donors under $100 is impossible.

Even if she's raising general election $ in a separate account, and counting that in the $45 million, the math still doesn't work.

I think the issue with the math is the 50,000 number.  What is your source for that?  Because this says:

That makes it sound like 50,000 was the target number of donations over a short interval of time, not the whole quarter.  She would have to have well north of 100,000 donors total for the other numbers to work.

But he only has a testing the waters committee at this point, doesn't he?  I don't actually remember what the fundraising limits are on that.  It's not the same as a formal campaign or an exploratory committee.

Also, her Super PAC raised $3.4 million:

The $100 million+ number raised by Bush's Super PAC is for the first six months of the year, not the second quarter:

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/jeb-bush-super-pac-raises-more-than-100-million-in-6-months/

So are you comparing apples to apples when you compare that fundraising haul to the other figures?  Is the $24 million for Clinton's Super PACs, for example, just for Q2 or the whole year so far?

Average dollars raised per day (by the campaigns, not the Super PACs):

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2015/07/07/guess-which-presidential-candidate-has-been-raising-more-than-half-a-million-a-day/

Bush $760k
Clinton $570k
Sanders $242k
Cruz $142k
Carson $87k
Fiorina $24k

Of course, there tends to be a big rush of fundraising in the days following the announcement.  Since Bush announced so late in the quarter, that helps explain his high $/day figure.

Kasich's Super PACs: Raised $11.5 million from their creation on May 1st until the end of the quarter on June 30th:

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/247549-kasich-aligned-groups-raise-115-million

Meanwhile, Rick Perry's campaign raised $1.07 million for the quarter:

http://edition.cnn.com/2015/07/10/politics/rick-perry-super-pac-fundraising-17-million/index.html

While two pro-Rick Perry Super PACs raised $12.8 million in the first half of the year.  And (not included, because it was just created in the early days of July), a third pro-Perry Super PAC just got $4 million from a single donor(!).

Here's a timeline of when everyone announced:

And how much their campaigns have raised for the 2nd quarter:

Cruz (in all quarter): $10 million
Paul (in since April 7): $7 million
Clinton (in since April 12): $45 million
Rubio (in since April 13): hasn't released info yet
Sanders (in since April 30): $15 million
Carson (in since May 3): $8.3 million
Fiorina (in since May 4): $1.4 million
Huckabee (in since May 5): hasn't released info yet
Santorum (in since May 27): hasn't released info yet
Pataki (in since May 28): hasn't released info yet
O'Malley (in since May 30): hasn't released info yet
Graham (in since June 1): hasn't released info yet
Chafee (in since June 3): hasn't released info yet
Perry (in since June 4): $1.07 million
Bush (in since June 15): $11 million
Trump (in since June 16): hasn't released info yet
Jindal (in since June 24): hasn't released info yet
Christie (in since June 30): hasn't released info yet

I'd say the big one we're still waiting on is Rubio.  We have Super PAC #s for him, but what about his campaign?

Chafee has put the rest of the 2016 field on notice with his towering $30,000 fundraising total for the 2nd quarter:

http://www.politico.com/story/2015/07/lincoln-chafee-2016-fundraising-120014.html

Will the rest of the field now be shamed into dropping out?

This AP story says that Rubio's campaign raised $12 million for the quarter:

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/news/article.cfm?c_id=2&objectid=11480206

But why is the New Zealand Herald the only source running with this?  Is the story real?  Or some kind of American-Kiwi mistranslation?  Because I don't understand why the New Zealand Herald of all places would be getting this kind of exclusive.

Politico confirms the Rubio $12 million story:

Should be noted that Rubio's in "third" if you add up all the Super PAC and outside groups.  If you're just counting $ raised by the campaign itself, then Rubio's leading the GOP field (yet behind both Clinton and Sanders).

Right.  Chafee's at ~$400,000 if you're counting all the money he lent to his own campaign.  But he only raised ~$30,000 from people not named Lincoln Chafee.

It would also be interesting to see the cash on hand #s for all these candidates.  Those that raise the most tend to also have the greatest expenses, and so burn through their cash more quickly.

Right, I was wondering more if someone wanted to make a graph plotting # of days the candidate was in the race in the 2nd quarter vs. $ they raised.

Christie's Super PAC rasied $11 million from February through June.  It's only spent ~$300,000 so far, so it has $10.7 million cash on hand:

Amounts raised in 2nd quarter:

Jindal: $580,000 (only in the race for ~1 week this quarter)
http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/247997-jindal-lags-in-early-fundraising

O'Malley: $2 million (only in the race for ~1 month this quarter)
http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/fundraising/248034-omalley-raises-2-million-for-2016-bid

Santorum: $608,000 (only in the race for ~1 month this quarter)
http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/248079-santorum-stumbles-in-second-quarter-fundraising

Those stories also note that Jindal ended the quarter with $513,715 cash on hand and Santorum ended with $232,018 cash on hand, but didn't mention the equivalent number for O'Malley.
