So, FML. It looks like there is a good chance I'll be relocating to Alabama for a bit. Does anyone have anything good to say about Alabama? (I'm more than familiar with the negatives).

There is a lot of History in Alabama that makes it somewhat interesting, other than that...its a fail state. Birmingham, Montgomery, and Huntsville aren't that special, and Mobile smells like sh!t all year long.

Birmingham is a decent sized city with a fair bit of financial sector stuff. Huntsville space center is the best field trip ever for a kid. I haven't ever been to Montgomery, but I'm sure you'll do fine there.

I watched a TV show once that had three guys from every state and a panel had tio judge which was the most attractive state. The panel was a mother, her straight daughter and her gay son. Anyway, Alabama came second to Wisconsin. I didn't think they deserved to beat Connecticut or Kentucky (those Kentucky guys were fiiiine) but they were pretty hot in the all-American athletic kinda way.
