Conducted August 9-16.

Probably the best poll for Trump in a while.


Amazing that I agree with this in a poll where Trump is at 37%

A +4 really isn't an outlier for a +6 to +8 race, especially with such high third party numbers and just regular fluidity in the polls.  Just my two cents.

Yep, half should be above, half below.

Looking back in 2012, a couple things about Pew surprised me.

They bounced around A LOT, going from between Obama +8 to Romney +4, but ended up being pretty close at Obama +3.

They polled at least once a month, even over the summer. This year, they're polling quite a bit less often.
