I'm not much a moderate, more moderate-conservative, but I appreciate the nomination. While I'm liberal on some issues, such as education, unions, and the death penalty, I think my very conservative position on abortion keeps me from winning a moderate hero award. I will say, I support more Democrats/Independents for Governor than I do Republicans, and only support 63% of Republican Senatorial candidates.
(This is from my Atlas Endorsements, in case anyone was confused)
Being a moderate hero is not a good thing.
I still haven't received an acceptable answer from anyone that believes I fit the title explaining what views I artificially change in order to be "moderate".
I tend to view moderate heroes as people who walk around supporting candidates or positions and then reminded everyone how moderate they are on their views. No offense, but tmth's post is a wonderful example of someone who is trying to appear moderate whether their beliefs match up or not (he's trying to shout I'M MODERATE even though he's far from it).
People are just picking on you, Franzl. Don't let them get you down.
