I thought the RPP was non-ideological.

Yes, but nobody is willing to deny that most liberals aren't RPPers and most conservatives are RPPers. However, there are many exceptions to that rule. Ben, Meeker, and Phil are good examples of this.

The party itself does not endorse a certain ideology other than regional government is best, but the voters that tend to vote for the conservative candidates we ran tended to be conservatives

You know, more moderate candidates could have a higher preference on some left ballots.

The more moderate candidates that we would have liked to run weren't interested. I waited until two days after the deadline for a moderate candidate to enter.

No bad feelings. I just felt it was time for a single-member party again.

Lewis, no bad feelings. That is sad, but perhaps better for you. I'm sure than you will continue to support our candidates and ideas.

Ogis, get out of here. Sollicitation by other political parties is forbidden in our convention.

Well, Max, you should accept veiws from all parts of the spectrum in your party. And since i was a member of this party as recently as yesterday, I believe my opinions still hold somewhat here.

I accept views of other parties, but, that is not really a view, it is a recruitment for your party.

Actually I have always voted the way the SDP has voted. And will continue unless you tell me otherwise.

Unless who tells you otherwise? Anyway, I have voted SDP every time also. When I ran, I was a member of the SDP.

When you ran, your candidacy was arguably illegitimate.

What say the party about Xahar?  Do you guys actually keep pretending he didn't do anything and endorse him?

Atlasia v. Xahar has started. A question for the Party now exists; should it suspend him now or in the event of a conviction [qm]

I think that in the event of a conviction, he should be expelled.
Meanwhile we could suspend him.

I've already stated the party's position.

I am proposing the motion that Xahar be suspended pending the outcome of his trial.

What is suspension? What does that entail?

Temporary removal of voting rights on party matters.

If this party ever endorses Xahar's candidacy for office again I will leave the SDP.

This won't happen while I'm Chairman or MaxQue General Secretary.
