The farther she stays away from public office at this point, the better it will be for the Democratic Party. 2016 is not 2000 where I think if Gore had stayed engaged politically it would have been a good thing for him politically and for the Democratic Party.

Honestly, I would prefer her over Cuomo.

Hillary's performance in swing rust-belt states gave us Trump, cost us the Senate & many House seats.

Thank them for their service. She is too big a player to stay away from national politics & will run again in 2020 if she becomes NY governor. She should leave active politics!

She'd be the instant favorite, but I don't know how enthusiastic I'd be about her candidacy.  She let us down, after all.

Seems a lot more like the American people let her down, if you ask me.

^^ This. Clinton wasn't some very enthusiastic campaigner, but she is an intelligent and effective leader. She had flaws, of course, but her biggest problems stemmed from the lies and disingenuous coverage of her by Republicans in Congress, rightwing media, and fake news (ie email scandal).

This. I'm also sick of that WWC being completely ignored bs as many of them weren't voting for Hillary anyway.

Hispanics aren't generally too supportive of the GOP, yet the highest numbers in which they voted for a Republican in a presidential election (2004) was the one where the Republican actually made a compelling case for their vote.

I'd hope that Donald Trump Jr. announces a bid for Governorship as well, and enjoy the popcorn.

Actually now that I think about it Ivanka would be a good fit for New York. She's fiscally moderate while being more liberal on social issues.

I'd feel sorry for her, because it means she's gone insane from the defeat.

She's done with politics and will live with Bill and focusing on the foundation and his memorial at Clinton library in Arkansas.

This might probably be her last destiny, and in that case I will support her bid.
She would flatten generic R by somewhat 61-33, a solid D hold range, or so.
Though, I would like her to have private time in Chappaqua and enjoy her remaining life.
