The idea that any Southern Republican senator is not racist is patently ridiculous.

I can tell you for an absolute unquestionable fact that Senator Lamar Alexander is not racist.

Democratic officials in Shelby county are crazy and corrupt.  Democrats in Tennessee are crazy and corrupt.  Why should I care if there happens to be one non-crazy, non-corrupt Democrat somewhere in North Dakota?

Because not all politics are local, and near-unquestioning loyalty is what CAUSES corruption, Don.

Exactly.

Not to mention that you are also highly likely to find more non-crazy, non-corrupt Democrats elsewhere than North Dakota; many of them will probably be in positions of national power too.  And I'll be damned sure that there will be at least a couple of them within Tennessee as well.  Perhaps even Shelby County.

So you see Don, the moral of the story is to understand that not all Democrats are evil simply because the ones in your town are.

No I mean if he were from that sad land he would know - as I do - how profoundly racist it is.

The idea that any Southern Republican senator is not racist is patently ridiculous.

And you know that living in America would make him convinced of that, even though that is the minority view in America?

Oh you must be joking!  Americans all know they hate a black, they just pretend they don't in public.

"They hate a black"?  Come on, you're going out of your way of using your alternative grammar.  Tongue

I don't "hate a black."

Surely you can at least admit that most americans hate a black, and that Southern Republican Senators appeal to the profound racism of their electorats to get into office?

Ah, then why I'm living in North Philly?
