Following his arrest on campus for yelling "Go Back To Poland!", Timmy is now reassessing his short term goals in jail.

I am a Zionist, and deeply disagree with these protesters.  That said, does it not bother anyone outside the protest movement that the police and government officials are being a bit heavy-handed with them?  They have been overwhelmingly peaceful so far, so there is no reason for the gestapo-approach unless intimidation is the intention.

> heavy handed

> gestapo style approach

Do you really think that arresting people for occupying private property is heavy handed?

I think it’s heavy-handed to arrest students for being on their own university campus, yes.

Are the Campus protests more concentrated in Democratic states?

There have been crackdowns in Indiana and Texas and also incidents at Vanderbilt. However elite universities are more concentrated in the northeast and California.

No, the activists are sacrificing American democracy for Hamas.

That poll has him down almost ten points. He has quite a ways to go. I wouldn't be this cocky if I were you.

I’ve seen that poll. I’ve seen all the polls! lol

I still believe Biden will win because he represents the middle, far from this nonsense and MAGA nonsense on the other end of the spectrum (or horseshoe).

The horseshoe remark in that post is something of an obiter dictum. The more important question is whether the median voter theorem is real. (Unfortunately?,) it probably isn't.

Oh, were students arrested for attending classes or eating meals? I agree that that's pretty outrageous, if so.

Seems like NW is violating a SCOTUS initiative as a peace offering to the students.

I'm hearing from Evanston sources that Richard Hanania, formerly with UT Austin's Salem Center for Public Policy and Columbia's Arnold Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies, will be Northwestern's first Professor of Palestinian Studies.

Just send Hanania to Gaza so he can study firsthand. It'd be good for him.

Are you suggesting that Hanania "go back to Gaza?" Seems pretty racist.

Somehow I think this is more about him than Gaza.
