We are living in a time of uncertainty in a time we are witnessing the slowest economic growth ever in American history. And Millennials and younger generations are among the main victims of this economic sluggish.

This year in 2015, Millennials in New York City, for example, were reported as earning 20% less than the generation before them, as a result of entering the workforce during the Great Recession. Despite higher college attendance rates than Generation X, many were stuck in low-paid jobs, with the percentage of degree-educated young adults working in low-wage industries rising from 23% to 33% between 2000 and 2014.

Millennials have benefited the least from the economic recovery following the Great Recession as average incomes for this generation have fallen at twice the general adult population's total drop and are likely to be on a path toward lower incomes for at least another decade. Three and a half years after the worst recession since the Great Depression, the earnings and employment gap between those in the under-35 population and their parents and grandparents threatens to unravel the American dream of each generation doing better than the last. The nation's younger workers have benefited least from an economic recovery that has been the most uneven in recent history.

That's why we need to reduce taxes for all the American people, including for young generations, to reform our education system through school choice and, especially for those studying business, to cut taxes and regulations on businesses and to reduce the cost of doing business in America, which will give Millennials a fair chance to find good-paying jobs, to prosper, to raise a family and to live the American Dream. Otherwise, they will inherit a lifetime of debt.

The story of the American Dream is not my story alone. It is our story. We are all but a generation or two removed who made our futures the purpose of their lives. Whether we remain a special country will depend on whether that journey is still possible for those trying to make it now. That is why this election is not just about what laws we will pass. It is a generational choice about what kind of country we will be. It is a choice Americans before us were also called to make. At the turn of the 19th century, industrialization was transforming the world, but that generation of Americans left yesterday behind, harnessed the power of the industrial age, and the 20th century became the American Century.

At midpoint of the 20th century, Americans feared they were falling behind the Soviet Union in space and on the global stage, but that generation turned the page on the past and pursued a New Frontier.

Now our own generation as well as Millennials must choose what kind of country we want to be in this new century. Globalization and massive technological change present us with both great challenges and great opportunities. Like those before us, we must either embrace the future or be left behind by it. Our children, including my four children Daniella, Amanda, Dominick and Anthony, will be either the first generation of Americans to inherit a diminished country or they will be the freest and most prosperous generation ever.

Americans not yet born will write the final verdict on our generation. Let them record that we made the right choice. Let them record that in the early years of this century, faced with a rapidly changing and uncertain world, our generation rose to face the great challenges of our time.

That's why I'm asking for your vote because if you do, we will make history. We will lead America to one of the brightest futures we've ever known and this future will be a New American Century for all Americans.

Thank you. God bless you and God bless America.

Here's what this election must be about : this election must be about the future, not the past. It better be about the issues our nation and the world is facing today, not simply the issues we once faced.

This country is facing an economy that has been radically transformed. You know, the largest retailer in the country and the world today, Amazon, doesn't even own a single store? And these changes have been disruptive. They have changed people's lives. The jobs that once sustained our middle class, they either don't pay enough or they are gone, and we need someone that understands that as our nominee.

If I'm our nominee, how are Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders going to lecture me about living paycheck to paycheck? I was raised paycheck to paycheck. How are they going to lecture me about student loans? I owed over $100,000 just four years ago.

If I'm our nominee, we will be the party of the future.

STEPHEN PEARCY's NEW YEARS VIDEO MESSAGE TO SUPPORTERS

My fellow Americans and fellow supporters. We have reached the end of year 1 of this campaign. But if you think it's will be over soon we'll you will be wrong.

This is the beginning of a revolution that says yeah you too can be president of this great country.

I promise you as we head to the end of 2015 things don't look great.  The economy seems to going into a recession, ISIS still running wild in the Middle East and even hitting the western clivization world.

I think I can agree with my opponents Paul Rubio and Moran that it is not Morning in Amercia again.

We also saw a attack on my pride of being a Jewish citizen.  After the discrimination we have faced throughout history seeing someone who is Jewish breaking the glass ceiling  for every Jewish American would be a amazing accomplishment and the biggest since the massive swarm of us came to this country to start a great new life after the horrible tragedy that was going on in Nazi Germany which resulted in us with the British crossing the Rhine and have West Germany become a free country once again.

Back to the year in review. We are seeing a new conflict pop up in the war on terror and one that the establishment wants to push a war in Iran.

One of my opponents wants to continue Obama's disaster Presidency and I don't want to any of that.

I want Amercia to get out of the Middle East, I want to give the middle class and small business the biggest tax cuts in history.  I want to balance the budget the most times since President Eisenhower.

I want to defeat big Oil by drilling instead of the Middle East drill instead  domestically.  We will legalize weed for everyone especially people who are seriously ill fighting for their lives.

My presidency will let the people decide not the government.

Thank you for all your support and I wish you a happy new year and like our campaign slogan says let shoot a arrow through the establishment's heart.  Happy 2016.

Marco Rubio Campaign Ad
In an effort to win over social conservative voters, especially those living in Iowa and embracing family values (opposition to abortion, marriage between a man and a woman, anti-pornography, etc.), Marco Rubio's presidential campaign broadcasts an ad about Rubio's plan to make families stronger for the sake of the American Dream and a prosperous America.

The ad titled « Stronger families » airs in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Nevada, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont and Virginia.

« Strong families » advertisement narration :

Strong families are the core of American greatness : without strong families, America’s strong values will not endure, and the American Dream will disappear. Being raised in a stable home by a mother and a father is an incredible privilege but, unfortunately, one that is increasingly rare.

Too often in recent years, through both economic and social policy, Washington has tried to compete with families rather than support and defend them. Through higher taxes, the government invests a part of families' money to fund Planned Parenthood, which contributed to the murder of many unborn children. All of this has left American families weaker than they once were, and the institutions that teach values and support families, such as churches and civil society groups, are ailing, too.

When I'm President, we will not only defund Planned Parenthood, but we will also reform the Tax Code to treat parents fairly by creating a new $2,500 per child tax credit, to allow working parents to keep more of their money and fix the parent tax penalty, by ending the marriage tax penalty without penalizing homemakers and by encouraging paid leave for new parents, caretakers of ailing loved ones, seriously ill employees, and military families, without harmful mandates, taxes, or costly new entitlements.

We will promote a Marriage Culture by defending traditional American values and the value of marriage and by allowing states to use anti-poverty dollars on programs that fight pornography and recognize marriage’s crucial role in lifting families out of poverty.

When families are strong, America is strong.

I'm Marco Rubio and I approve this message.

Marco Rubio's New Year's Video Message live from Concord, New Hampshire

My fellow Americans, we are about to enter one of the most important years in America's history.

I promise you that 2016 will be the beginning of a new morning in America. 2016 will be the beginning of a New American Century. We will see a resurrection of free market and free enterprise, taxes will be reduced for all Americans, which will give them a stronger purchasing power and a fairer chance to live the American Dream and to find good-paying jobs. Businesses will be freed from big government policies and will be once again be able to create jobs. America will take advantage of all of its sources of energy, we will reform our education system in order to make it more accessible for all Americans and we will balance the budget.

2016 will also mark the beginning of a new American leadership. Together, with our allies, we will defeat terrorism and restore peace, freedom and security.

The new upcoming year will decide whether our children will be the first generation of Americans to inherit a diminished country or they will be the freest and most prosperous generation ever. We wish that the latter option, so we must fight to make sure that this bright future will be given to our people, to our generation and all the generations to come. That's why I wish you a Happy New Year 2016.

Thank you. God bless all of you and God bless the United States of America.

Marco Rubio Campaign Ad
Marco Rubio's presidential campaign broadcasts an ad enumerating all the wrong foreign policy decisions made by the Obama administration, slamming it for selecting the wrong priorities and narrating Marco Rubio's engagement to correct all these mistakes and to fight and defeat radical Islamic terrorism.

The ad titled « Safe » airs in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Nevada, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont and Virginia.

« Safe » advertisement narration :

Barack Obama released terrorists from Guantanamo, and now they're plotting to attack us like they did in San Bernardino.

Instead of fighting to fund our troops in order to fight terrorism, President Obama fights to fund Planned Parenthood.

He spies on Israel and cut a deal with Iran on its nuclear program, which put international peace in danger.

His plan after the attack in San Bernardino : take away our guns instead of focusing on the fight against radical Islamic terrorism.

Enough is enough.

Under President Obama, the world is more dangerous, and America is less safe. We saw it over the last two months in Paris and in San Bernardino.

If I'm elected to serve as Commander-in-Chief, we won't cower in the face of evil. America will lead. America will fight back. America will win. We will rebuild our military. We will kill the terrorists. We will have a foreign policy of moral clarity that is clear whose side we're on. We're on the side of freedom and democracy and those who are willing to fight for their own freedom and democracy. And our enemies and our adversaries will not dare test us because they will know that if they do, they will not prevail.

America needs a real commander-in-chief and a President who will keep us safe. That's why I'm asking for your vote.

I'm Marco Rubio and I approve this message.

Democratic Debate: Sanders vs Warren

Warren & Sanders Square off in First One-on-One Debate

Bernie Sanders:

- Opening Statements

First of all I'd like to thank the moderator and our hosts for tonight. I'd also like to thank Senator Waren for being here too. Tonight, you are going to see something markedly different from the Republican debates. This is not going to be a popularity contest. This is going to be a debate of policy. Senator Warren and I have worked closely in the Senate for years, and I am honored to be debating her tonight.

Let me begin by saying my campaign focuses on a number of issues: climate change, LGBT equality, legalization of marijuana, rebuilding infrastructure and so on. However, the biggest issue-and one I believe to be the great moral issue of our time-is wealth inequality. I do not believe it is fair that the top 1% in this country get millions, if not billions, of dollars in tax breaks, and leave the middle and working classes to foot the bill. They then go and hide their money in offshore tax havens like the Cayman Islands. This is just unacceptable. Trickle-down economics does not work. On the other hand, raising wages for workers and increasing taxes on the wealthiest earners in this country will decrease the wealth gap. Those of the working and middle classes will have increased purchasing power, and studies show that a lager portion of middle and working class money is spent than upper-class money, which means that increasing wages will mean more money in the system.

This is just common-sense economics. Though common sense doesn't seem to be common in the Republican Party.

Quote
- Senator Sanders: In your own words you described yourself as a "Democratic socialist", to those watching here tonight, could you elaborate what that title means?

A democratic socialist is someone who believes that the richest people cannot, on their own, produce an ideal society, and that the true responsibility in this country lies with the working and middle classes. A democratic socialist is someone who believes that healthcare is a right for all, not a privilege for those who can afford it. A democratic socialist is someone who believes that working two or three jobs and still not earning enough to feed your family is immoral. A democratic socialist is someone who believes that when we all stand as one, we are a better society. We do not advocate for the overthrow of capitalism; that's just the ideology of a handful of fringe lunatics. We want to make capitalism fairer for all.

On the other hand, you have people in the Republican Party-not naming names *laughs*-who are seemingly having a competition to see who can give the richest people the biggest tax cut. That is just insane. I like President Johnson's take on right-wing economics: "Republicans simply don't know how to manage the economy. They keep pushing this trickle-down theory, trying to give the richest corporations the biggest tax break, and before you know it, the whole thing's gone hell in a handbasket."

Quote
- Senator Warren: You're proposing Medicare for all - how do you plan to pay for such a massive overhaul to the nation's health care system?

If i may add an aside here, Senator Warren is absolutely spot-on here. We are the only first-world country that does not guarantee healthcare to its citizens as a right. We can pay for this by closing offshore tax loopholes and making sure our wealthiest citizens pay their taxes.

So Elizabeth, you have my full support in this.

Quote
- Senator Sanders: Do you consider Pres. Obama's nearly eight years in office a success or failure?

I consider it a mixed bag. He has done some very good things. He's been acting decisively on climate change; the Affordable Care Act was a marked improvement over our old system, though it didn't go far enough; and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which was the brainchild of my colleague here.

However, there has been some undeniable negatives. The expansion of domestic spying is a blatant violation of the Fourth Amendment; he has attempted to prosecute people like Edward Snowden and Chelsea Manning, both of whom revealed to the world just what was happening. These shortsighted free trade deals that throw workers aside. Endless military intervention; I believe it's seven different countries we're currently fighting in.

President Obama's administraion has been a mixed bad with both positives and negatives. However, he could not have done much better than that, considering what he inherited. He has left the country in a much better shape than before, so there is no excuse for whoever wins this election

Quote
- to Both: What would your plan be as President to confront and stop ISIS?

Military intervention should always be the last resort, never the first, which is why I'm alarmed at the words coming out of the Republican debates, where they seem to be competing for the right to be crowned "Most hawkish".

We need to form a coalition of anti-ISIS nations in the Middle East. Part of this will necessitate working with some unsavory people. Assad in Syria for example. However, we have a common enemy, and offering material and diplomatic support is an excellent way to get some policy concessions from them. The same goes for Iran.

We need to both hold an anti-ISIS Middle Eastern coalition together, and gain concessions from the leaders of these countries.

However, we cannot rely on Saudi Arabia anymore. They are directly responsible for the spread of this foul Wahabbist ideology, and need to be diplomatically confronted about it.

Quote
- to Both: Do you consider yourself a progressive?

Yes. No doubt about it. I have been standing up for progressive causes since the 1960s, when I was arrested for joining civil rights protests.

Quote
- to Both: How do you propose dealing with the nearly 22 million undocumented immigrants in this country?

Amnesty for all, just like the great Republican saint Ronald Reagan. What Republicans don't seem to understand-particularly in regards to Muslim immigrants-is that most criminals in the United States were born and raised here, and didn't immigrate.

However, I would also do border protection. The point is, we don't need a tougher system for immigrants-we have one of the toughest in the world already-we need to make it better. As President, I will reach out to advisers and then formulate the best plan possible.

Quote
- Closing Statements.

Tonight, you have seen an exchange of ideas and policy, not one of personality like the Republicans. Regardless of what you believe, have just one request for everyone out their tonight: vote your conscience, don't vote for policies you don't believe in and don't vote for the person.

Thank you and goodnight.

Elizabeth Warren:
In this debate you will see two proudly progressive candidates. Only one has the ability to defeat any Republican opponent in November, and that is me.

The main difference between myself and Senator Sanders, is that I can win in November. I can defeat a Marco Rubio, Jerry Moran, or Rand Paul, while still providing progressive values.

Obamacare may not be perfect, but it's a heck of a lot better than doing nothing, like the Republicans and insurance companies wanted.

Senator Sanders' proposal is for free tuition for all is too broad. The rich and uber-rich families should have to pay for whatever college they go to, like anyone else does now.

To stop ISIS, I would arm the Peshmerga, and whatever moderate Syrian rebels exist and I would step up airstrikes on ISIS held territory in Iraq and Syria. Under no circumstances should there be American soldiers risking their lives in either Iraq or Syria.

Of course I consider myself a progressive. I wouldn't have the endorsement of Daily Kos if I wasn't one.

To deal with the nearly twenty-two million undocumented immigrants already in this country, I would pursue the deportations of only those who have committed felonies, such as rape and murder. Others, would be admitted into a work program, where if they worked for a set number of years for a salary and paid a fine, they would receive a Green Card.

You have seen two candidates who are both proud progressives, however, only I can defeat the Republicans in November. I hope those of you watching in Iowa, New Hampshire, and around the nation make the right choice.

NEXT TURN: Republicans

January 1-14th
Race Overview:

The Republican candidates are crisscrossing the country, one month before the Iowa Caucuses, and Marco Rubio continues to lead as the favorite for the Republican nomination. He is currently ahead in every state, save for New Hampshire, where Rand Paul leads. Rubio is blanketing the airwaves with ads and racking up endorsements. Rubio's ads, in particular those on foreign policy have received high-marks and the strongest reaction.

However, his fellow rivals remain undeterred, for the heat is on for the Florida Senator who is likely to undergo a lot more scrutiny and attack as the race runs down to the wire.

Rand Paul, currently poses the biggest threat to Rubio in the long run, presuming he prevails in the New Hampshire primary. Paul continues to lead in the Granite State, where his libertarian streak is favored, but he faces some competition from Stephen Pearcy, who's bluntness and libertarian flourishes seem to have an appeal in the state.

While, Rubio faces a clearer path to the Republican nomination, than his rivals, he is still not without challenges. In Iowa, there still exists the likelihood of an upset by Senator Jerry Moran, who has strong support among the states' evangelical base and his conservatism is considered more traditional than Rubio. Only time will tell if Rubio can hold onto his lead. A win in Iowa would help him a great deal in continuing his momentum.

Republicans are set to debate again, in South Carolina.

Pearcy campaigns at the Las Vegas Gun Club

Folks while we are thankful that it's the last full year of Obama being in office

*Some of the crowd cheers*

Yes I know we are excited but he is going after gun rights harder than before.  Let us remember him of how in Nazi Germany and in Stalin's Russia of how citizens were stripped of their rights of firearms. There was no second amendment in those periods as the only people who had them were the police state and the Milltary.   My daughter Jewel if someone was trying to harm her. I'm not gonna call 911 and wait 15 mins for the police I am gonna use my 2nd amendment to take care of the problem.

*Crowd cheers*

What I am saying is to President Obama and the Democrats 1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms!!!

*Crowd cheers*

Marco Rubio's schedule January 1-January 14 2016, Part 1

January 1
-Spend day with family

January 2
-Meet with voters in Manchester, New Hampshire
-Speech ahead of a crowd of undecided voters at West Memorial Field in Manchester, New Hampshire in an effort to win among Independent voters, a group that sounds likely to play an important role in determining the results of the New Hampshire Republican primary like it did in all previous primary campaigns :

One of the main differences between me and my opponents is that I can win in November. I am the Republican candidate who is most likely to defeat Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders.

Like we saw in 1980 and 1984 with the Reagan Democrats, a Republican victory on November partly depends on how well we do among Independent voters. So we have to find common grounds with these voters. I'm the best candidate in this race to attract Independent voters.

Abortion is never good because it contributes to the murder of unborn babies. So we must fight abortion and I believe we should promote adoption instead. Adoption is a clear alternative to abortion because it will allow couples who don't want a baby not to have one without killing him while this baby will earn the chance to live and to be loved.

As President, we will promote energy independence by encouraging oil drilling and oil production here in America and we will use a part of the revenues from oil drilling to develop renewable energies. That way, we can promote oil drilling as well as America's energy independence without hurting the environment. By the way, this is a peaceful way to fight terrorism because America's energy independence will deprive terrorists of the money we're sending overseas by importing oil from oil-producing countries, so it will decrease their ability to prepare terrorist attacks.

Recently, during his State of the Union speech, President Obama called to pass an infrastructure bill, which looks like a good idea. But we actually have a national debt that is almost hitting 20 trillion dollars and more government spending, like the Obama administration is suggesting, means higher taxes to fund these projects, more deficit and a bigger national debt, which is the last thing the American people. If we want to develop our infrastructure, we have to reduce the size of government, to balance the budget and to reduce the deficit, which requires stronger job creation in America because the more jobs we create, the more our economy works, the more we can rise the wages and the more we will be able to reduce the deficit. The reason why the deficit increased is because President Obama is taking on the American people's purchasing power, thus making our economy less dynamic and weakening the middle-class. Because if more people work in a growing economy, they're paying taxes, which will help us reducing the deficit. Here is a clear common sense : we will give a stronger role for the private sector to contribute to the development of America's infrastructures. When we'll balance the budget, we will not only use budget surpluses to help us lowering taxes to reinforce our people's purchasing power and to diminish their fiscal burden but we will also use another part of future budget surpluses to develop infrastructures in order to grow our economy by making our companies more dynamic and more competitive, thus ensuring innovation and further job creation because developing our infrastructures will improve transportation, facilitate economic activities all across the country and make sure that new businesses will be able to implement here in the United States, which will help our  business owners to ensure the expansion of their companies, to prosper, to create jobs, to innovate and to reinforce their competitiveness. We will not do it with borrowed money but with earned money.

Recently, President Obama signed an unconstitutional Executive Order requiring purchased guns to undergo a background check, which is in violation to the Second Amendment. He's obsessed about destroying this element of the legacy of the American Revolution that gave freedom and independence to this great country, freedom defended by our Founding Fathers. This will make our people defenceless against terrorists and criminals. The real problem in this issue is the radical Islamic terrorist threat. We can stop terrorists from getting weapons and from causing massive shootings on the territory of the United States by authorizing the Attorney General to delay transfer of firearms to suspected terrorists. That's how we can stop terrorist attacks in the United States while defending the Second Amendment of the United States as well the right for self-defense against terrorists.

That's why I will be President for all Americans and that's why I'm asking for your support.

Thank you, God bless you all and God bless the United States of America.

-Meet with voters in Keene, New Hampshire with Chris Sununu
-Rally with voters at Alumni Field in Keene, New Hampshire with Chris Sununu
-Speech in Keene, New Hampshire, in reaction to Bernie Sanders' claim about the Republicans' ability to manage the economy :

I watched the Democratic debate between Senator Warren and Senator Sanders. And we all heard Senator Sanders quoting Lyndon B. Johnson claiming that we « simply don't know how to manage the economy. » I totally disagree with that. You saw what happened during the presidency of Ronald Reagan, a Republican considered as one of the most conservative Presidents America ever had? Taxes, government spending as well as regulations were reduced, inflation was reduced from 12.5 % to 4.4 %, America's real GDP enjoyed an average annual growth of 3.4 %, we created 16 million new jobs and the unemployment rate was reduced from 7.5 % to 5.4 %. So claiming that the Republicans don't know how to manage the economy is not knowing history.

Right now, we are witnessing the slowest economic growth in America's history. This is due to Barack Obama's big government policies that increased taxes on the American people and American businesses, made us dependent on foreign oil, made us less competitive in the global economy and increased the deficit. All these anti-free market policies will get America to a new recession. America has the highest corporate tax rate in the developed world and taxes for small businesses that can exceed 45%, which made our businesses less competitive, killed jobs and offshored some of America's businesses overseas. So we need to reduce taxes on businesses to 20 % in order to get businesses growing again and increase their ability to create jobs. Under my presidency, we will put in place a 15 % flat tax in order to reduce our taxpayers' fiscal burden and to grow their purchasing power, we will get America to energy independence by exploiting and producing our own oil reserves, we will reform our education system by promoting school choice and we will balance the budget by cutting government spending and through job creation. That's how we're going to make America prosperous and fair again.

Pearcy townhall in Concord New Hampshire to undecided and independent voters

Question 1:Mr Pearcy you have said that you would withdraw us out of TPP and NAFTA in the first week but can you explain what you will do with trade?

Pearcy:Well first off we would need to find a country that has compareable tax rates to us. If we trade with someone like Singapore which as a 17% cooperate tax rate whille we had a 40% corporate tax rate. We aren't gonna win because we don't have the highest tax rate  Singapore does.

Also countries that use paper today as their monetary system and if the country increased the speed of on the printing presses how the money prints if it's faster than ours that destroys any decent trade agreement based on a stable system the system has become unstable.

Next thing there MUST be a uniform business law. Here in the US we got for example the OSHA and the EPA BUT then you got places like China where there are very few regulations on their industry. We can't compete cause we have many regulation laws whille China has little to none.

Question 2:What are some different between you and Senator Paul?

Pearcy:Well I am more moderate on social issues like I openly accept Evolution and think Climate Change is a real thing I just don't think it should be political that's all.  I'm also not that religious meaning whille I have great respect for the Christian religion I am first off Jewish and seeing myself campaign with a evangelical priest would seem kinda silly.  But I am always will be for Freedom of religion it's very important of our 1st amendment.

Question 2 again:What else?

Pearcy:Well I think Gay Marriage should be a big political issues anymore I mean I respect the Supreme Court decision to legalize it nationwide. It doesn't bother me that someone is gay I mean my daughter Jewel has a couple of gays friends and the same goes for I.

So I think those are the main differences and the fact I am more populist than him.

He will defend the Second Amendment and your right to own firearms and to ensure your self-defense. That way, if you possess a gun while facing a terrorist who wants to kill you, you will be able to strike back and to save your life.

As President, Marco Rubio will reinforce and modernize our military, expand our alliances and military partnerships, thus helping us to defeat radical Islamic terrorism, including ISIS, to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons and to stop North Korea from triggering a nuclear

-In reaction to the recent North Korean nuclear test, Senator Marco Rubio and Colorado Senator Cory Gardner co-sponsored a bill called the North Korea Sanctions and Policy Enhancement Act of 2016 that is aimed at reinforcing diplomatic and economic sanctions on North Korea for pushing ahead with its nuclear weapons program. This bill would also impose sanctions against any individual, company or bank around the world (including a few Chinese firms and banks that support North Korea's nuclear program) that allege support to North Korea's nuclear program and serve as financial intermediaries for dollar transactions to North Korea to help Pyongyang to evade U.N. sanctions and to develop nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction.

The Senate vote on this bill is scheduled to be set on January 13 2016. Should this bill pass in the Senate, the vote in the House of Representatives will be set on January 20 2016.

-Marco Rubio's speech in the U.S. Senate introducing the North Korea Sanctions and Policy Enhancement Act of 2016

Today this morning, North Korea has conducted another nuclear test. But this time, it was North Korea's first claimed hydrogen bomb test. Kim Jong-un has become much more dangerous, all the more so that U.S.-based experts have estimated that North Korea may have about 10 bombs, but that could grow to between 20 and 100 in the next four years.

North Korea is one of the greatest threats to our national security.  The regime of Kim Jong-un continues to conduct missile and nuclear tests, proliferate sensitive technology to state sponsors of terrorism like Iran, and has conducted massive cyberattacks against the United States and our allies.

Unfortunately, administrations of both political parties have failed to roll back the threat North Korea poses and have allowed this rogue regime to develop even more dangerous capabilities.  North Korea now has a growing nuclear arsenal and missiles capable of hitting the United States, especially Alaska, Hawaii and the West Coast. Around the world, some companies, especially Chinese companies, are helping North Korea to evade U.N. sanctions and to keep pursuing the development of its nuclear program by transferring materials as well as millions and millions of dollars to the regime of Kim Jong-un, which is funding North Korea's nuclear arsenal and threatening international peace and security by getting us closer to a nuclear disaster.

So in order to stop North Korea from developing its nuclear program and from triggering a nuclear war, the passage of the North Korea Sanctions and Policy Enhancement Act of 2016 is a first step toward applying more pressure to North Korea and those who do business with this corrupt regime.  I was pleased to work with Senator Cory Gardner to specifically target the industries and companies around the world that North Korea uses to earn hard currency and to strengthen the bill’s provisions related to raising awareness of the plight of the North Korean people and funding activities to promote their human rights.

I urge President Obama to fully implement this bill and to take other steps, such as return North Korea to the state sponsors of terrorism list and make it clear that more belligerent activity by Pyongyang will only result in additional U.S. pressure on the regime’s economic lifelines.

I'll have to post a summary again.

Summary of Sanders 2016 campaign leading into new year: Sanders hit the campaign trail hard in the lead-up to the new year, sometimes doing six or seven rallies a day. He focused extensively on Iowa and New Hampshire, but also dispatched surrogates like Feingold, Baldwin, and the Browns to places like Florida, South Carolina and Texas, where Sanders is expected to appear in the New Year.

Sanders also unveiled a new policy at a rally in New Hampshire alongside Gov. Lynch: Paid family leave for up to 3 months off work each year, and accumulating every year not used. Sanders cited a woman needing to give birth to a child among other reasons for it.

Sanders also met with Archbishop Desmond Tutu, a hero of the anti-apartheid movement in South Africa and advocate for human rights all over the world. The productive meeting ended with the famed anti-apartheid warrior endorsing Sanders, while also implying that his deceased friend Nelson Mandela would have done the same. Sanders also welcomed the backing of the Harvey Milk Foundation, vowing to stand up for LGBT rights.

Finally, Sanders spent the 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st with his wife Jane in Burlington.

Democrats are heading for a fierce contest between Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders. Poll are increasingly showing a close race between the Massachusetts Senator, and the Vermont Senator. Warren continues to stress her experience and electability, while Sanders argues the need for 'bold change'. There is no doubt, both are outside the usual spectrum of their political party, but Warren seems to embracing the establishment more so than Sanders, who is happy to run as the outsider; pledging to reform and rebuild the Democratic Party, much like his plan for the country, from the ground up.

Iowa: Warren +3
Warren: 45%
Sanders: 42%

New Hampshire: Sanders +4
Sanders: 46%
Warren: 42%

Nevada: Warren +3
Warren: 45%
Sanders: 42%

South Carolina: Warren +12
Warren: 48%
Sanders: 36%

Gallup National Poll: Republican Primary
Elizabeth Warren: 43%
Bernie Sanders: 39%

Elizabeth Warren Endorsements: Dave Loesback (Previously endorsed Biden) Loretta Lynch (Previously endorsed Biden), Jack Markell (Previously endorsed Biden), Bruce Braley, Steven Horsford, Jim Clyburn (Previously endorsed Biden), Dina Titus (Previously endorsed Biden), Al Franken, Eric Schneiderman and Angus King.

STEPHEN PEARCY IN IOWA REACTS TO DEATH OF DAVID BOWIE ON FACEBOOK LIVE

Testing ok 123 go. How's it going fellow supporters? Stephen here I am here with my wife and daughter out here in Ceader Rapids Iowa where I will campaign about healthcare today. But I am up early this morning to talk about some sad news that I was woken up to.  David Bowie died last night according to his social media and this has shot me right in the chest.  I grew up listening to David Bowie and I was just enjoying his new album Blackstar and then I get this news.   Bowie was a without a doubt a inspiration to me and my band mates.   I will in honor of him come out to my rally to Space Oddity the song that was the first I ever of his back when I was around 11-12 years old.  Thank you David and my thoughts and prayers go out to his loved ones.

Schedule for Elizabeth Warren

January 1, 2016

Speech at UNI Dome, Cedar Falls, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

I just thought I'd wish everyone a Happy New Year, and I hope you all have a 2016 that will be as interesting as our 2015 was.

Speech at McLeod Center, Cedar Falls, Iowa (With Tom Harkin)

It's outrageous that we still have a prison camp in Guantanamo Bay that tortures prisoners, doesn't give trials to anyone, and imprisons the innocent. As President, I will push for the closure of the Guantanamo Bay detention camp, and return the camp, and associated naval base to Cuba.

Meet Voters in La Porte City, Iowa (With Chet Culver)

Meet Voters in Evansdale, Iowa (With Chet Culver and Tom Harkin)

January 2, 2016

Speech in Waterloo, Iowa (With Tom Harkin and Al Franken)

The caucuses are a month away, and if you have never caucused before, now is the time to learn. Our campaign, in conjunction with Tom Harkin, Chet Culver, and EMILY's List is sponsoring  "how to caucus" seminars in every county, in this state on the weekend of January 9-10. These seminars are free of charge, and open to any registered Democrat or Independent voter with an Iowa voting address.

Meet Voters in Sharon, New Hampshire (With Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan)

Speech in Hollis, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan)

Republicans like Marco Rubio, Jerry Moran, Rand Paul, Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan want to take us back to 1950's when women were submissive to their male spouses, minorities were second class citizens, and LGBTQ individuals had no rights at all. This cannot be allowed to happen, and under a Warren administration, with a Democratic Congress, this will not happen.

January 4, 2016

Speech in Milford, New Hampshire (With Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan)

Senator Rubio has attacked me for not using the term "Islamic Extremism" to refer to terror that threatens our country. Well, Senator, that threat is very real, but it isn't the only threat facing this country. There are homegrown extremists like Timothy McVeigh, Ted Kaczynski, and others who committed terrorist acts in this country. There are those like Richard Spencer, Steve Bannon, Milo Yiannapoulos, and others who encourage such acts through their extreme positions, and language that glorifies the ethnic cleansing of minorities. It's a shame that Senator Rubio forgot these people, when describing the terrorist threats America faces.

Meet Voters in Mason, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan)

Meet Voters in Deering, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan)

Meet Voters in Antrim, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan and Jeanne Shaheen)

January 5, 2016

Speech at Verizon Wireless Arena (to be named SNHU Arena on September 1), Manchester, New Hampshire (With Maggie Hassan)

Millions of Americans take part in fantasy sports games for money. While some states have made this illegal, there is no reason that we should not legalize and tax it on a federal basis. We are not the morality police, nor should we be.

Meet Voters in Burnettown, South Carolina (With Joe Biden)

January 6, 2016

Speech in North Augusta, South Carolina (With Joe Biden and Al Gore)

North Korea's latest nuclear test is a clear provocation. There is only one country with the power to stop Kim Jong-Un from mounting a nuclear warhead on a missile. Therefore, I call upon the Chinese government to crack down on businesses and individuals flouting sanctions against North Korea, and if necessary depose Kim Jong-Un's government themselves.

Meet Voters in Ridge Spring, South Carolina (With Jim Clyburn and Joe Biden)

Meet Voters in Monetta, South Carolina (With Joe Biden)

Meet Voters in Pomaria, South Carolina (With Joe Biden)

Speech at Longwood University, Farmville, Virginia (With Tim Kaine)

America's roads need vast improvements, and as President I will push for spending to modernize our airports, update our roads, and acclimate our ports to modern times, so we can continue to travel and trade like first-class people.

January 12, 2016
