oppose almost all gun control.  I support allowing concealed wepon permits, oppose the assault wepon ban, and support laws banning lawsuits against gun manufacturers.

Agreed, except in some circumstances the very last one.

Leave the issue up to the states/localities.  No reason Montana and Maryland need the same gun regulations.

Well, it's no secret I am not a big fan of guns. I was raised without any guns in the house, and was raised to know that guns are bad.

Guns aren't bad - to think so is a logical fallacy. Guns are simply tools, nothing more than inanimate objects that do nothing unless acted upon by an outside force. A gun can be used for good or evil, just like any other tool - it's the user that decides the use, not the gun.

I am strongly opposed to mandatory trigger locks, assault weapon bans, concealed carry restrictions, mandatory waiting periods, and so forth. Frivolous lawsuits against manufacturers and sellers should be prohibited.

All federal gun laws whatsoever (including federal background check requirements) should be repealed.

I was going to say something, but after reading the posts on this thread I'm afraid that you will find my house and shoot me for it Grin
I might find your house, but I don't own any guns and would therefore hug you to death instead. Grin

How awful Grin

I support the assault weapon ban, but oppose a ban on handguns or any other gun.

Lift restrictions on ALL firearms. Only  under the condition that they also lift restrictions on all bladed weapons.

I mean Why just focus on projectile weapons? Us blade-users have rights too.

This is a pretty good summation of my views as well.

Perhaps not in practice, but I believe in thought.

On economic issues and gun control, conservatism strikes me as opposing trade restrictions and gun control because they are pragmatically viewed as making the situation worse.

Libertarianism seems to put more emphasis on the government not having the right to regulate it in the first place.

You can be a political libertarian, and not a philosophical one, just as you can be a political conservative, and not a philosophical one.

i support reasonable gun control measures.

Such things do not exist, prude Tongue

In reality: yes, I say we get rid of all restrictions on guns.  Any control is bad, even permits.
