Huckabee, Thompson, Tancredo

Maybe Rice but didn't pick her.

McCain isn't conservative enough for my likes despite what his voting record suggests.  Anyone who would vote against FMA isn't a conservative, maybe not a Republican.

Guilliani is way, way, way too liberal.

George Allen is great but too controversial

Pawlenty not enough experience, Romney is great but a Mormon would never win Sad (I'm not a Mormon but I'd vote for one)

Also, both are open primaries, which is why I didn't put in an "I'm not a Democrat" or "I'm not a Republican" option in either poll.

I'm quite surprised you don't like Guilliani, your from NY and seem liberal like him.  It's basically saying which of these people would you tolerate as president.  I mean I don't necessarily like Bayh or Warner, but I could tolerate them.  Hillary is so far to the left, it is any wonder she needed to move to NY to run for senate?  No, not really

^^^^^^

Out of these, I can probably tolerate Huckabee and McCain the most. The rest are all pretty awful.

What about Mitt Romney?  I would think he would appeal to a decent amount of Democrats.  Why don't any of you like him?

He's way too much of a slimeball politican to me.  He says whatever sounds best at the time and just seems to be running for President.  I will give him kudos for his handling of the Big Dig crisis though.

Were you thinking of approval voting? In the Australian version of IRV you'd have to vote for all the candidates. Tongue

Jeb Bush would be great but more as a 2012, only I and a select few on the far right want to see another Bush.
