Absolutely not unless he wants the Trump supporter voter turnout to be 20% higher than the Biden supporter voter turnout.

This is a turnout election. Everyone has an opinion and their mind made up already. It will really come down to who can turn out the base more.

This - Trump usually does not have majority support. He has his MAGA supporters and then some support from "low engagement" folks- well this is the exact type of thing that would push those "low engagement" voters right off the Trump train.

Their job is to get the jury to find him not guilty. By that measure, they failed.

They couldn't even establish reasonable doubt among one measly juror!

No, it's not because Trump is at risk of losing his base. Rather it's his soft support, the one he doesn't retain in multi-candidate match-ups. This includes a lot of his suburban, college-educated support he still has. They are more anti-Biden than pro-Trump like his WWC/rural base.

Anybody who is anti-Biden will not abandon Trump over this.
Too much is at stake.

Honestly, and I'm not being a concern troll here, I think this probably doesn't change much or maybe slightly helps Trump.

This trial for something that happened 8 years ago really shouldn't have happened - prosecution needs to be solely focused on his crimes post-2020 election in Georgia and in DC on Jan. 6. The fact that this trial is happening now looks a lot like political persecution, and it will motivate his followers more just as he had a boost after the arrest and mugshot.

And the resist libs are going to phone it in now. We all know they don't know a damn thing about how politics works. They definitely think he's toast now so the voter turnout on their end won't be as high.

Also, Trump is literally incapable of losing sufficient support to not be competitive - he really is Teflon Don. If this wasn't the case he would be totally irrelevant politically by now.

Finally, despite many trying to make this election a "defeat Trump and worry about policy after" election (as it should be -- as this is more important than anything else), far too many people see this as a policy election. They don't care if we elect a fascist and a convicted rapist, gas prices are too high.

looking at the crosstabs, Biden winning NYC by only 24 points is unfathomable.

Which just shows that polling in New York is cooked right now

Israel was formed as an act of contriteness by Europeans for their monstrosities in the 1940s.

What is the legitimacy of Israel if it becomes a monster itself?

Israel was formed out of its own blood, while under an arms embargo by those very same powers who were actively rooting for the Arabs, and it owes the rest of the world absolutely nothing. It does not need to be deemed legitimate by countries still inhaling our ancestors' ash.
