How unfortunate. I imagine that helicopter crashes have a very negative environmental impact and it sounds like this would be very difficult to clean up after, so a shame about the mountain!

Trump. Not only is Biden going to lose, he's trying to lose.
What makes you think that he is trying to lose?
Why would he want Trump to win?

He's flip-flopping on Israel/Gaza instead of taking a position and sticking to it. It might be a lose-lose situation, but he's managing to infuriate both sides. As to why he wants Trump to win, I'm not entirely sure - that's the main hole. Maybe he doesn't want to deliver what his base wants. But if he didn't want to be President anymore, he shouldn't have run for reelection.

Absolutely garbage take from a garbage poster.

He could serve a third term, but not be elected a third time.

There is a theory he (or Obama, Clinton, GW Bush) could be elected VP and have a sock puppet at the top of the ticket who immediately resigns.

You can only serve a max of 10 years though.

If this source is credible, this would be extremely concerning and reminiscent of what the US did during the War on Terror. While I'll continue to support Israel's right to defend itself and exist, it's clear that Netanyahu has got to go and be replaced by someone who respects the dignity and human rights of Palestinian civilians.

That's what we've been saying for basically months now, almost a year now. And it has been ignored.

It's good to see more people finally waking up.

But...

I mean South Africa introduced their genocide case in early january already. I think part of why some people are realizing it so late is ignorance, unwillingness to learn and educate about the conflict and multiple perspectives.

If anyone ever wanted to stop farm subsidies they could just start calling it “Farmers Socialism” and most small, rural farmers would give it up and have their farms collapse over accepting they need the government to survive.

Nah, farmers in Europe have already connected proposals to cut farm subsidies to alt right conspiracies.
Rural resentment was a thing in 1896 and it still is.

I think the US should focus to subsidize fruits and "fresh veggies" (nor cereals nor tubers).
Or maybe subiside them but for export. I want to eat some corn from Iowa.
