What's really scary is that if he somehow actually gets elected, this kind of 1984-style reality denial is going to be coming from the White House. And not just for spin, but for actual policy, law enforcement, wars, and foreign relations.

"The Civil Rights Act doesn't exist, and neither does Roe v. Wade."
"We've always been at war with Turkey."
"The President can't be impeached."

Even if Trump understand that evolution is real, I bet a lot of his supporters would burn him on the cross for saying that.
