MN-GOV Mark Dayton vs. who?

We even have a budget surplus now, which means that Dayton and the DFL are working for middle class tax cuts. And it also means the "OMG WE NEED TO CUT EVERYTHING!" GOPers have egg on their faces and are completely untrusted.

As for his opponent well Marty Seifert won the straw poll at the caucus but only with 28%. Dave Thompson was right behind with 26%. Despite being perhaps the biggest name Zellers pulled off only an embarrassing 8%. So likely either Seifert or Thompson...neither one is notable or interesting, basically just very bland generic Republican.

FWIW I'm actually a little disappointed all elections this year will be boring. Similar to the title of the Washington megathread.
