I found this thread on the SMF site regarding disappearing posts. No cause or resolution has been mentioned yet, but it looks like this isn't the only place where it has happened.

Emsworth and Joe Republic in the final round. Only thing is I would say 75% (90% even) of the current voters in Atlasia aren't familiar with that. They probably don't know Yates, Ben Meyers, or JerusalemCar either.

Ford dropping out in the middle of the Feb. 2006 election was also an interesting occurrence.

One man doesn't define a party. Though Democrats would have been saying the same thing you just did if McCain had beaten Obama...
