There is ever so much whining about the "Indigenous People" of any number of countries, and how long-established nations are living on "Stolen Land".  Now I don't buy into that argument in general because, really, how far back do you have to go to make things right, but if people want to go there, we really need to consider who occupied the land in 600 BC.

Palestinians are more closely related to those of ancient Judea than the average Jew today.

By Fuzzy's "logic" of relying on who inhabited a land over 2500 years ago as determinative of who has rights to it now, his own home should be confiscated by the Caribe tribe.

Fetterman is basically the median Dem union voter from Ohio.
I disagree. Fetterman is to the right of most Democrats on this issue and its confusing

If Spartz didn't already show what happens to oddball GOPers, I'd wonder what Oz would be doing now on the issue.

Is it though? Israel/antisemitism is one of the top issues right now among big donors to both Democrats and Republicans. With a lot of Democratic politicians distancing themselves from the issue, now is a great opportunity for a newcomer to Washington like Fetterman to build connections and lay the groundwork for a future presidential run. Biden also probably appreciates having people on capitol hill back him up for doubling down on his current Israel policy.

Democrats are against both antisemitism and Israeli war crimes. A real leader would speak out against both. Fetterman refusing to acknowledge the suffering of the Palestinians is odd.
