Semi Pro. Pretty funny when it was trying to be funny, but awful when it was trying to be serious. A lot of awesome side roles from a bunch of funny actors.

Absolute Power, 1997 political thriller with Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman and Ed Harris. Pretty good.

Saving Silverman, 2001 comedy with Jason Biggs, Steve Zahn, Jack Black, the sexy Amanda Peet and Amanda Demeter, and Neil Diamond as himself. Funny.

Killshot.

One review said "Ultimately it's Rourke who makes the film worth watching." and that's very true. His performance was awesome. Sadly the rest of the movie felt like a mess, not surprising for a movie delayed over 3 years and that has gone a million re-writes and edits, including the complete removal of one character. Didn't feel incomplete, just more like the Cliff Notes version. But Rourke (who is basically the protaganist actually), as well as Diane Lane in her underwear, both made it worth seeing.

Cliffhanger, 1993 action film with Stallone. Good flick. John Lithgow plays a good villain.

Dragnet, 1987 comedy cop film with Dan Aykroyd and Tom Hanks. Back around 1994, I used to watch this film constantly. I still know just about every line.

Tropic Thunder, 2008 film with Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Nick Nolte. Kind of a letdown.

Ricochet, 1991 flick with Denzel Washington and John Lithgow once again as a villain. Good movie.

These Three...with Merle Oberon, Joel McCrea and a very young Walter Brennan.  I never realized "The Children's Hour" with Audrey Hepburn was a remake of this movie.

Angels and Demons -and to tell you the truth, I thought it was slightly better even than the Da Vinci Code.

Needful Things.  Max Von Sydow was a much better Satan than he was a Jesus in "The Greatest Story Ever Told..."

QUANTUM OF SOLACE

Perhaps the most underrated 007 film. Hopefully this film will be re-evaluated in the future and placed among the best of the series, much like what happened with ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE and LICENCE TO KILL.

My wife got me Defiance for my Birthday last week. Pretty good flick.

I went and saw Hangover today, f'king hilarious and brilliant.

I didn't know they were allowed to show certain, ahem, organs in rated "R" movies? When did the rules change? Not that I really care, just curious.

Yesterday, or maybe the day before, I watched "27 Dresses" and "What Happens in Vegas". Both are good, drama-filled movies.

It's not that they couldn't, it's just that no one wants to.

Really, what's the threshold on such things between R and X? They showed a dude getting a BJ in the movie.

I'm sure there's some sort of written guideline, but in reality its whatever the particular group of ratings reviewers feel like it is.

Top Gun was PG after all. (granted in 1986, there was no Pg 13)

Really? Wow....i mean if I recall correctly Top Gun was PG...and that movie had plenty of vulgar language for a PG film...not to mention some of the most homoerotic scenes in all of film.
