I'm trying to decide what I want to do this evening.  Do I want to watch an ALDS doubleheader from 1630-2300 or do I want to watch a college football doubleheader from 1800-0100 or do i want to watch the Vikings vs. Packers from 1925-2230?  What would you choose?

I hope between all the napping and football-watching, you do take some time to do interview prep!

Grumps, when you're sick, rest is your best friend.  Don't knock me for the naps.  Not today.

Tell me about it, I have severe bronchitis right now.  I think I'll leave work at 4PM and make it a shorter day.

I didn't go into the office today because I had a fever this morning. On the other hand, I just finished an hour-and-a-half Skype interview with a sales candidate and will work off-and-on all day. The achiness sucks, though, and I looked like sh[inks] via Skype.

Bushie have you even touched your CAD(D) since you got fired? Maybe focus on that instead of planning which stupid football game you want to watch.

Bushie is going to watch the ALDS from 1630-1925, NFL from 1925-2230, and the college football from 2230-0100, with channel changes in between for commercial breaks. He'll then show up to his interview in the morning unprepared and fully ready to nap after staying up to 0100.

I would readily work on my AutoCAD program, but tonight through the weekend, I am on my laptop which does not have the software on it.  It's on my main computer back at the apartment which, again, is 103.6 miles away.  I will look at it while I watch Sunday Night Football at the apartment.

Install AutoCAD on your laptop. And get the tablet edition...

Better yet, sell all these distracting superfluous electronics for money.

That's the thing, AutoCAD was a gift from my school for being a student.  Now that I am no longer a current student, I doubt I could download it on a second machine for a second, older, machine.  AutoCAD is a mighty expensive software.  The following website has the price tag at $1,680.

They bought the computer, not the software.

How are you going to explain why you were at your last job for such a short period of time?

Why did they buy you a desktop computer instead of installing AutoCAD on the more convenient laptop?

Gah, it never makes any sense.

As per usual, I PM'd a few guys the name of the company for their customary research and analysis.  I like what I see on the company so far.

I will say something I really like is this company uses AutoCAD 2012, not AutoCAD 2000.  That's a lot closer to the AutoCAD 2014 that I used in school.  According to my instructor, there weren't a lot of changes between 2012, 2013, and 2014.  So, when I practice on my own AutoCAD 2014, I will be closer to the version that I would use at work.  My parents are really hoping for this job.  For one, it pays quite a bit more - $15/hour as opposed to $11/hour.  It is also closer to them in the Oklahoma City metro (Edmond) instead of Tulsa.

Jobs that pay more also expect more. Something to keep in mind.

This is true, but it doesn't scare me.  My old boss gave me a lot of good nuggets over the last two months that I can take with me into a new job.  I know what I need to work on and what I need to keep an eye out for.

I really think I'm starting to get on the back side of this cold.  I feel better and I sound better.  I haven't taken a nap today, which is surprising, instead I've just been in the recliner relaxing.  I haven't stepped outside at all today, and I won't until I leave for the interview.  The interview is at 10:00, so I want to be there by 9:40, and it's a 45-50 minute drive, so I'll leave here at 8:50.

I think I have decided on a double header of October Baseball tonight.  Detroit Tigers vs. Baltimore Orioles at 1637 and Kansas City Royals vs. Los Angeles Angels at 2007 both on TBS.

So, you've chosen not to get a job tomorrow. Great.

So, you've chosen not to get a job tomorrow. Great.

When did I ever say that or imply that?

How many times do I have to say that I am not near my AutoCAD program so I can practice?  I have been preparing for the interview all day and will do it more this evening.  Your statement is not warranted.
