It's still ok to talk on a phone hands free, but lack of hands isn't what 'causes distracted driving, it's lack of brain activity devoted to the task of driving.
From a NY Times article.Just another dumb, pointless law that makes cops have even more interaction with the public leading to more issues between the two. We need fewer laws, not more.
The ironic thing about it is that how else will localities raise funds if there is increasing reluctance to collect revenues up front?
