13% of traffic fatalities involved distracted driving
thus...(is my maths right?)
~1.3% of driving fatalities are cell phone related

It's still ok to talk on a phone hands free, but lack of hands isn't what 'causes distracted driving, it's lack of brain activity devoted to the task of driving.

Just another dumb, pointless law that makes cops have even more interaction with the public leading to more issues between the two.  We need fewer laws, not more.
