To be fair, these are cases she SHOULD be recusing herself from.

Yeah, Republicans are gonna make an issue of this, but she did the right thing here, and the number will go down with time, making her a more useful Justice, and at that point, it won't matter anymore.

To be clear, I wasn't being critical, but I think that's probably the highest number of recusals we'll ever live to see.

this should have been entirely foreseeable, and a valid reason not to support Kagan's nomination

Moreso for the Dems, right?  They lose a liberal vote on some important cases.
