Democrats : Senator Joseph Biden wins the Nomination, defeating Hillary Clinton and Al Gore in a Huge Upset. To attract young voters, and to assure those who are worried about his health, he chooses The Charismatic Senator Barack Obama of Illinois as his running mate.
Repubilcans : 17 major canidates announce their run for president. Dick Cheney is one of them, and after winning the Kentucky Primary, becomes the Nominee. He chooses Mitt Romney as his running mate.
