I don't think enough of his would-be supporters even know what he sounds like. They're probably imagining the voice of his father or uncle.

His voice is the least of his problems, but I'm going off the assumption that those considering voting for him are superficial themselves ("Biden is old!").
Jr isn’t exactly in wonderful health himself.

That's exactly my point. People upset at Biden or Trump's ages have only others in their 70s also as alternatives (Libertarian nominee pending, of course).

Jill Stein may be 73 but she’s in much better physical health than perhaps most candidates this cycle. Being a Greenie kind of makes you that way. Outside of her there’s the PSL ticket with two young women and then the ASP ticket with a former marine for prez

RFK Jr says a worm ate part of his brain and then died inside his head
Anti-vaccine activist RFK Jr said he also suffered mercury poisoning from eating too much fish: ‘I loved tuna fish sandwiches. I ate them all the time’

Quote
Anti-vaccine activist turned independent presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr has revealed that a worm ate part of his brain and then died inside his head.

According to The New York Times, Mr Kennedy made the bizarre admission during a deposition held as part of his 2012 divorce proceeding.

He reportedly said he’d begun to experience “cognitive problems” and both short and long-term memory loss in 2010, not long after his uncle, the late Massachusetts senator Edward Kennedy, died from the effects of brain cancer.

The Times said the record of his 2012 deposition showed Mr Kennedy had initially feared he, too, had a brain tumour.

But he received a second opinion from a doctor in New York who told him the cause of his problems — and a dark spot on his brain scans — was a dead parasite.

He isn't saying "I have a dead worm in my brain." He's saying he saw a doctor who told him so. So he's saying he encountered some idiot quack doctor

Well he did say this: “I have cognitive problems, clearly." Under oath.

I remember around the time Bush left office I saw an article from a serious news source that said 20% of people have brain worms. Coincidentally, that was when Bush's approval rating was 20%.

The brain worm eating part of his brain explains a lot, lol.

He also apparently developed cognitive problems from mercury poisoning. Is that what killed the worm too? It's like how all of Mr Burns' diseases held each other in check and made him "indestructible".

Dunno. On the one hand it's a real condition and it sounds like this really happened so I don't think he's saying it because he's crazy or something. On the other hand, he wouldn't show all his medical records to the reporters so that we can know he's ok.

Meanwhile, RFK Jr. gets an endorsement from the one guy I would NOT want endorsing my campaign.

What is it with politicians doubling down on the stupidest sh[Inks] lately? Like shooting dogs and having brain worms…

I mean, I’ll take the username inspiration but it’s not inspiring for the country’s hopes.

I saw that one elsewhere. Now, I'd like to think I have a really dark, screwed up, insensitive sense of humor... but even I think that's effing vile.

I'm kind of shocked he'd think this was a good thing to put out there. Besides how vile it is, a lot of Republican primary voters are exactly the type to actually like RFK Jr.
