Overall Freedom Fighters I guess. I can't help but respect someone who is willing to face possible shunning from their entire ethnic group for their sincerely-held beliefs.

I like them. I want to see an African-American conservative governor rise to be president in 2024 or 2028, not the Herman Cain, Alan Keyes, Allen West, Ben Carson types who look crazy to the public.

Most of the elected ones, like Tim Scott, Mia Love, JC Watts, as well as the old ones like Thomas Sowell, are definite FFs. Many of the Tea Party activists like Cain and Carson are HPs. FF on the balance for sticking up for what they believe in.

I'll grant you Tim Scott, because he just seems like a standard conservative Republican.  And, you got to have enough minorities to fill out your Burger King Kids Club.

But, Mia Love and JC Watts, give me a break.  I guess the standards for Republican politicians are low, but they're both awful people.

I've only met a few in real life.  the one I knew best was pretty strange.  big fan of Reagan, but wrote his research paper on the Nation of Islam.  he probably had unresolved identity problems, so to speak.
