Percy/Braun

Best:
Percy
Durbin
Fitzgerald
Stevenson

Braun is the only one with a corruption scandal I can find on Wikipedia.

I originally voted for Simon, I have switched to Douglas (despite the 'Nam support) because of the Balanced Budget shenanigans Simon endorsed.

And Kirk's the worst right now, though Braun and Dixon are not far behind at all.

Fitzgerald gets my respect for voting against the airline bailout.

As for the worst, his predecessor and successors are all good contenders for the role.

Stevenson was an economic centrist, IIRC.
By Brown, do you mean Braun?

Illinois has a long list of good and bad senators.

I'll rank 'em:

BEST:
1. Everett Dirksen, R-IL
2. Mark Kirk, R-IL
3. Paul Simon, D-IL
4. Peter Fitzgerald, R-IL

WORST:

1. Carol Moseley-Braun
2. Charles Percy
3. Roland Burris

I used the singular predecessor and the plural successors.

Worst: Burris (lol duh, Braun in second)

Well. The three of us are surprisingly similar for this. I think Burris and Braun are about equally bad, but Braun literally accussed someone for being a member of the KKK for bringing up her corruption.

Why does the author of the Civil Rights Acts have such few votes?

I have quite a bit of respect for Fitzgerald.

Braun just SCREAMS "give me attention!"

He wasn't a great Senator tbh. I mean he's a good president, but he accomplished little in his four years representing IL.
