Nice to see so many posters on this board support want-on aggression.

Obviously. It's okay to invade countries, as long as it's Israel.

It's amusing that so many people actually support Egypt and Syria here. I mean, I get (sort of) how one can support the Arab cause in a broader sense but launching a surprise attack like this on a neighbour...if there is one war where Israel was in the right this one is it.

It amuses me that Israel seriously considered launching a preemptive attack itself, but didn't want to create a conflict with it's ally, the US. So much for being in the clear, Israel.

And so does rampant Zionism. There's really no common sense to be with people who support murders as if they're some victim.

So because Israel may have contemplated attacking first they are just as bad as those that did attack?  I think I rest my case.

No, but let's not act as if Israel is some innocent, peace-loving nation. There isn't a country that's in the right about this.

Yeah, crossing cease fire lines on your enemies holiest day is the exact same as whatever horrible thing you think Israel did in the Yom Kippur War.  Remember, we're not talking about the entire Israel/Arab conflict here.

The interesting thing about internet discussion of anything to do with Israel and the Palestinians is how quick people are to go all reductionist and how quite people are to essentialise just about everyone.
