Why does the job of SoEA attract you, and what part of foreign affairs are you most passionate about?
Also, the job of SoEA is a rather under-the-radar job, what do you think you can do to make it a more prominent cabinet post?
I am just very interested in foreign policy and this position will help me to be active in Atlasia's. On to your second question which I think will also answer the question of my haonorable predecessor, I plan to do as you did for the AG Marokai, I will open up an office in the Atlas Fantasy elections board which I think will allow the general public more access. If Lief and the Senate don't mind I may even simply hire a little press secretary for myself to help make daily updates to people. At the same time I also hope to react to the posts of the GM in the GM comments thread which I am sure will be widely read.
I two am interested in the answers to the honerable Senator Marokai's questions. As well I would like to know if you plan on doing anything different from the former SoEA, the honerable Senator Hashmite?
Not really. Other than hopefully I can give daily updates and responses on international situations, if the President will give me the leeway to respond without prior approval :-p I think Hashemite did a great job in this post. As shown by how long he served in it. I think the biggest difference will be not in the SOEA but the GM. It will be so much easier to really speak on the world front with an active GM.
As you were the author of the recent legislation defining the role of the SoEA, I am confident that you will live up to our expectations for the position.
I would ask one question: Are there any additional reforms you would like to see to the position of SoEA?
Not especially. I think I fleshed it out with my previous legislation. However if you have any in mind I'd love to hear them.
I'd like to thank the various senators for their votes of confidence by the way. Hope I can get to work right away.
