It's all right occasionally especially with Canadian Bacon and properly cooked, but not my favorite.

Still, probably in a bit of a minority here when I would say that Anchovies are actually really good on Pizza occasionally if done properly (Thinking of an Italian joint in London somewhere off of one of the main drags in Camden Town some 20 years back).

I have never understood the controversy surrounding it, I'm not into it personally but it doesn't offend me in any way.

It's not my first choice (or second or third), but I do enjoy it from time to time. However, it doesn't just go by itself or with any other random topping. It has to be Hawaiian pizza, with Canadian bacon/ham and/or regular bacon. (If people are putting pineapple by itself on pizza, I'd agree that that sounds very unappealing.)
