And so ends this session of the NSC. I  hope to see y'all next session!

Alright guys.  Take a few days to settle into your offices, and we will then begin hearings on the three bills Joyce has written up and I've introduced Smiley

Since nobody seems interested anymore, we'll begin voting on whether or not to approve these pieces of legislation.

I vote AYE on all of them.

All relevant bills have been considered and there are no executive actions for us to deal with right now.

An opening statement would be helpful, but I'll throw in some questions now to get things going (feel free to combine these into your opening statement, or to answer them separately):

What would your priorities be as SoEA?  Do you believe Atlasia is too involved in the world stage?  How would you best contain a nuclear Iran?

Due to the limited time left, I am now opening a vote on whether or not Clarence should be confirmed.

Aye

Ah.  Well, the NSC voted 2-0 to confirm Clarence, so hopefully Clarence can take solace in that fact.

I trust that will begin as soon as that give time period expires in about 40 minutes? Tongue

I was actually on my way here to post Smiley

We're going to begin with some overview hearings from SoEA Polnut.  Mr. SoEA, please come testify about your plans for the near future, particularly how you intend to handle the situation with North Korea.  Other members of the NSC should feel free to inquire as well.

Mr. Secretary, can you elaborate on the recent story discussing possible chemical weapons in Turkey (basically, as full a briefing as possible)?

Mr. Secretary, please update the NSC ASAP on all information.  If chemical weapons are discovered, what does the DoEA plan to do?
