In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if, a year from now, a large percentage of the electorate won't even be able to correctly answer a poll question on whether Obamacare has been repealed or not.

Yeah, weren't there polls back in like 2014 saying that a majority (or significant chunk) of Republicans thought Obamacare had already been repealed?

Well 30% of the country thought Obama was a Muslim terrorist, and 30% of the country now thinks that Russians changed the results of the election.

Literally changed votes, or changed the outcome of the election? The CIA agrees with the latter.

Rand Paul writes brutal editorial in Breitbart accusing GOP of keeping Obamacrare with this bill.

This is about as clear a No as you get.

Last major prediction. Pence will look like a President-in-waiting as a result of this. He's collected major credit among the Congressional GOP for his lobbying, his wooing, and appears like a very strong potential GOP President.

Interesting, because it seems like Pence came across as ineffective in his happy-faced lying about Trumpcare at the National Governors' Association conference—admittedly with an impossible job.

If only McGinty or Feingold had won.
If only Hillary took voters in either of their states seriously.

Yeah, if Hillary had only campaigned in Pennsylvania?!

Republicans will pass something to send to Conference Committee and in a few months we'll have the same arguments we had these past few weeks about Medicaid cuts, extreme repeal, etc. and be one step closer to them pushing the red button that destroys the U.S. insurance market.

Cornyn's optimistic claims have blown up several times in this debacle. He always claims victory to make it seem inevitable. Let's hope that happens again.

Meh. Graham-Cassidy is the kind of bill I would expect him to support. His no vote on the other bill was because it was a flaming train wreck everyone else was too afraid to stop.

We'll know this bill is going down if Cornyn announces it has 50 votes and the vote will be held by the end of the week.

Medicaid is NOT correlated with increased health outcomes nor a decrease in emergency room visits

In fact, and you can google this, emergency room usage is higher now than it was before

Do you have a citation on the first one?

On the latter, if true... so what? Drug overdoses are way up since 2010, that will cause more emergency room visits, and there's no reason to think "the same number of people are visiting the emergency room" is incompatible with "more people are getting needed medical care outside of Emergency Rooms, and experiencing improved health than before".
