I think that Boston and Richmond are historically more interesting than Madison, but I could be mistaken Smiley

Not a very good reason if that is the case, Boston is a million times more historic than Richmond. Madison (along with many of the other eliminated cities) is better than Richmond as well.

I feel icky saying this, but I want Boston to win this game

I don't see where i said that Boston wasn't a million times more historical than Richmond, as you can see i voted Boston for the win Grin, for it's history and because the city is beautiful.
I see Madison as a very nice city, but again i didn't find anything that made me think it should have stayed till this far, as a foreigner and because i have no first hand experience with the city i might be mistaken, but what i see is Richmond having a history dating to the 17th and 18th century and as the capital of the confederacy, while Madison seems to have a much more recent history and from what i read, not all that interesting. But as i said i could be mistaken, you can help me by pointing out why Madison is more interesting than Richmond historically, instead of scolding me Tongue

And my idea for the past 4 or 5 rounds was to have a North VS South final, just for the hell of it Grin

Sorry if I sounded too mean before. Richmond is a lot more historically interesting than Madison, no one can deny that. I like Madison more because of its voting history, social liberalism and its similarity to parts of New England. Richmond may be historical but its present day status leaves much to be desired, I'd say more but I'm afraid Useful Idiot might read this thread (he loves Southern and Western Virginia). Richmond seems poor, boring and tobacco-based, of course never having been there I could be wrong, its just my opinion.

I have the same issue you have here in the British Cities thread, some of them I know very little about.
