Um, he should be given a trial if he's captured alive. That's what we did to the Nazi war criminals.

Killing him would be better than a trial like those.

I'm sorry, but that's just a stupid statement to make, especially if we do somehow capture him.  He shouldn't have said it in such an absolute statement way.

I'll give Holder a pass on this.  I think it was more that bin Laden wouldn't permit himself to be taken alive.

Oh, I know what he meant - I'm just saying that it's stupid to say that he is sure that that's what will happen.
