Nice move. Ebowed isn't my favorite politician in Atlasia, though I have the utmost faith in him to serve well.

I always knew about the requirement of the act, but I was confused by it. What it seemed to imply made the act virtually useless.

Any comment on the recent onslaught of trolls, Mr. President?

I'm not surprised by this turn of events, really.

I plan to run for PPT as the anti-DWTL just to let everyone know.  Despite the RPP majority I feel I still have a decent chance at victory.
RPP Senators = 5, even a tie would just go to Meeker

Can we be that certain that Meeker would vote in your favor, though?

EDIT: Meeker will vote for HW.

I didn't say that.

It's called reading between the lines, you see.

The Senate has seriously been completely inactive for over a month now. I'd like to get on with proceedings, even if they're completely unofficial.

I would really like to see absentee voting abolished for future elections and perhaps replaced with an extended general election booth (lasting for five days to a week, perhaps?)

Not that I have a problem with people who don't need to use the absentee booth using it, but it does kind of defeat the purpose and I think it would be a lot simpler to only have one booth/thread. Thoughts?

I agree, and would vote for making the voting last for one week.

     I agree with this.

Personally I think that's a little silly. I want absentee voting abolished too, but I think elections are partly about turnout, and if someone doesn't get to vote, tough cookies. We shouldn't be extending elections just because we want to give everyone a year to vote. If you're going to do this for Presidential elections you may as well extend voting times for every election.

But we're reducing the time from 10 days to 7 days that way.

It's looking like we'll have a majority of votes in the absentee booth, lol...

Well it's no fault of the RPP, Mr. President. Grin
