Now it is true that it's not possible to actually die from too much THC and you can from overdrinking....but deaths from straight alcohol poisoning are a relatively low percentage of deaths from alcohol overall.
indeed, the way alcohol is consumed is 10,000 times more dangerous to people RIGHT NOW than the way marijuana is consumed.  Even if every bad thing ever said by the most anti-drug nut jobs was true about marijuana,  marijuana would still be far safer than alcohol.

Marijuana is far less destructive than alcohol, anyone that says otherwise is dumb or a liar.

Please preach to DT above.

This is going to be an issue for both parties in 2028. I can't think of anyone likable in either major party that is up and coming. Kamala, maybe, at best.

Beshear? Whitmer? Shapiro? Warnock? Kelly? Ossoff? Gallego? Polis? Moore? The Democratic bench in 2028 is loaded with top-tier candidates.

To be fair, we don't know how popular these candidates will remain once the GOP hammers them with their attack ads, and they know how to be vicious. Hillary Clinton was extremely popular prior to the 2016 election, and we all know how that turned out. Plus some of them might fizzle out once they're actually in the spotlight a la Ron DeSantis.

Biden has stayed silent on Trump’s trial. The verdict will change that.
Biden will speak at some point after the verdict, whether it be a conviction, acquittal or hung jury.

Quote
Joe Biden plans to break his vow of silence and publicly address the criminal trials Donald Trump is facing when a verdict is reached, four people familiar with internal deliberations told POLITICO.

Biden intends to initially address the verdict in a White House setting — not a campaign one — to show his statement isn’t political, according to the people, who were granted anonymity to discuss internal deliberations.

If the jury convicts Trump, Biden’s team will then argue that the result shows Trump is ill-suited for office and that it demonstrates the extremes to which the former president would go to win again. The campaign’s social media team is considering leveraging the line of attack further, with discussions underway about referring to the ex-president online as “Convicted Felon Donald Trump.”

His team is also preparing for a barrage of Republican and Trump attacks if the former president’s acquitted or if there’s a hung jury.

That's the real benefit of the verdict, especially if it's a conviction, Biden and other Democrats can finally not have his arms tied behind his back about this.

Not necessarily, but it may call the bluff of Americans who seem to hate Biden but love other Democrats.

(As long as it isn't Harris or Newsom as the replacement)

Which rust belt state is Trump the best positioned to win at the moment?

Probably all or most of the Democratic one.

I'd rather watch both parts of 'Rebel Moon' in succession than watch a second of the Republican convention.

Shaula wya? I thought Trump was gonna be super pro Palestine, what happened??
You also said he was outflanking Biden to the left on this issue.

For maybe a couple weeks immediately post 10/7 it looked like he was. The past couple months he has been incredibly pro Israel, and that is clearly where his heart lies on the matter. They named an illegal settlement after him, don't underestimate how important that is to someone like Trump.
Doesn't this show just how dumb ever thinking Trump is outflanking Biden to the left is? Remember in 2020 when some Rose Twitter types were honestly insisting he was going to run to the left of Biden on criminal justice because of some 30+ year old votes Biden cast or even dumber nonsense about how he was going to call for Medicare for all or canceling all student loan debt and thus win in a landslide?

I don't care if the pro-Palestinian side still hates Biden when they vote for him-just f***ing do it! Enough with this voting having to be an expression of complete adoration s***!

He clearly is at least considering their interests in good faith. Trump doesn't give a f*** and will help Bibi turn Gaza into condos.

Pay f***ing attention!
