Republicans are stuck on MUH OBAMA and MUH HILLURUH, completely unaware that they have the reigns now, and that they have to back up their bark with actual policy legislation (supposedly for the people).

How's that going for you?

Since they don't control the executive (that's controlled by an independent and cronies), they don't have the reigns at all. Of course they are too politically dumb to point this out.

The Republicans own the insane wanna-be dictator they nominated and elected.
The Republicans on the hard-right used to call Obama a dictator. I think Trump overall is as hated by Democrats as Obama was with Conservatives Republicans.

At least its a little better than the Dems big government policy agenda even though I disagree with some of Trumps agenda items.

Sanchez can you explain why we should take Trump's claim at face value after this Bowling Green Massacre and Sweden nonsense?

To be honest, Trump's tweet sounds as if he were drunk when writing it.
No he was entirely sober (he's a lifelong teetotaler) and it was a smart series of tweets. The conversation was all about #biggerthanwatergate and whether he'd had any improper links to russia and if they interfered in the election improperly. Now, just like he did with #fakenews, he turned around an attack on him into an attack on his opponents. Now the #biggerthanwatergate conversation is whether Obama did anything illegal or interfered in the election improperly.

From Trump'd point of view thats a much better place for the conversation to be.

This was not a smart series of tweets lol.

This is another textbook case of Trump sending out a crazy tweet early in the morning, and Trump supporters trying to spin it as a "brilliant 5-D chess move in Trump's master plan."

Now even if there were a FISA warrant allowing surveillance against Trump, (which I really doubt) anything that comes out as a result will immediately be overshadowed by "OMG was Trump actually right and playing quantum chess?"

Sanchez can you explain why we should take Trump's claim at face value after this Bowling Green Massacre and Sweden nonsense?

Can Sanchez also provide us the findings of Trump's crack team of investigators that went to Hawaii to look into Obama's birth certificate? Plz Sanchez Plz

I would also like for Sanchez to back up those 15 times I posted fake "smears" on Trump. He seems to have disappeared from that thread.

This is terrible. Trump should order Sessions to issue an indictment against Obama. The DNC needs some help with black turnout.

There is no doubt, Trump actually thinks Obama ordered people to sneak in Trump Tower and physically  tap the wires.

Trump is completely insane. So are (at the very least) half of his supporters. We knew this a year ago.

Trump's own press secretary has described his government as dictatorship.

And the GOP is backing him to the hilt. They own him. And it's going to destroy them. Hopefully forever.

Quite right. When James Rosen was spied on, when mass spying on US citizens was ordered Obama White House officials never gave the order for that to happen. As a matter of procedure they would have asked DOJ officials to find a suitably complaint judge (i.e. most of them) to authorise it and then to order it to go ahead.

I did. They the rule was that the WH never interfered with independent DOJ investigations. Doesn't say how well that rule was adhered to does it. Says they never ordered wiretapping of US citizens. However a nod is as good as a wink and they would have had no difficulty in getting senior DOJ officials to order it for them.

Classic non-denial.

You are all making the mistake of assuming that if there were wiretaps, they were legal and court approved.

Because Occam's razor is a safer bet than "outgoing President wants hot, new, illegal gossip on a guy who he was too chickenshit to release any actual foreign-related intelligence on that he already had before the election".
They didn't have the foreign intelligence. All they had was the Billy Bush tapes. Hillary had to beg Tom Arnold to release another video that apparently existed.

Notably the Russian story has overwhelmed the address to Congress. And Trump just fanned the flames.

Intriguing. Less agenda to pass then, I guess. Very Page Six of him to focus on all the scandals and drama rather than running the country.
