What's really interesting are the polls giving the Tea Party a pretty significant favorability edge over OWS.  And I'm also a little surprised to see Romney with a 7-point lead in Ohio and only a 5-point lead in Florida.  How credible is this pollster?

Yup... nope.

Have a look at some of the approval cross-tabs, especially Nevada and New Mexico... yeah, not exactly realistic.

When I see the word "strategy" or a derivative in the name of a pollster... I hold my breath.

The prose suggests extreme bias.

Romney, 7% lead in Ohio? No way. Quinnipiac, which seems to lean R, just showed Obama up 2%  in Ohio.  Behind in Wisconsin?

A good enough reason to reject these polls.

I like how the forums nitpicks which pollsters to use and average out an Obama edge, such bias this place carries.

This is a Republican polling firm that basically makes its living by conducting polls that campaigns release for favorable press narratives...

I'm against dismissing polls just because they show improbable results, but there are fantastic reasons to dismiss these polls no matter what they say.

I saw that when I was reading the poll, there was a Republican bias.

Credibility matters and is often questioned when unusual pollsters like these are cited here.  We pooh-pooh polls that show Obama with odd leads, too.

Exactly - I'd believe bad numbers against Obama... if the guts of the numbers made any sense, lol

lol, this poll shows Obama's favorability in these samples to hover around the high-30s/low-40s.  Not his his approval as President, but this samples opinion of him personally.

Romney ought to be worried that such a bias sample is this close.

Judging by their support of the Tea Party, I think it was.

NO!

This is an unfamiliar entity with strange and inexplicable methodology. Its population samples are absurd.

I am certainly not using it.
