Each influential person has a celebrity supporter/friend write a bit his or herself. The President's was written by Silvio Berlusconi.  Smiley

LOL. Kevin Rudd made the list. That man proves, if you say sorry and sign a treaty that a man would be considered influencial. I should try that sometime, maybe not with my Mum though.

BTW: If I was in Rudd's position I would have done the same thing. But then again, I hate the man, just like Phil hates Bob Casey Junior or BRTD's hatred for Ralphy.

Yeah, I was surprised when I saw him there, too. What the hell was that about? How the hell does that make someone worth of being influential?

Seriously, they really need to change the name of that list. Most of the people there are not 'influential' by any stretch of the imagination.

These lists are usually meaningless anyway.

I have serious beef with this one.

No Angela Merkel and Nicolas Sarkozy while people like Anwar Ibrahim, Ashfaq Kayani make it?

Oh, I loled at two reader comments saying that Segolene Royal should have gotten on the list. Do they live on some other planet where she's relevant? I nominate Camille de Rocca  Serra for the list!!1!!!.

Also your typical Paul hacks have invaded the comments too.

Each influential person has a celebrity supporter/friend write a bit his or herself.

I don't think Lt. General Ricardo Sanchez is a supporter/friend of Muqtada al-Sadr Tongue

Haha, I read a few of them and they seemed to be written by those with a favorable opinion of the subject. I guess they couldn't find any friends of al-Sadr.  Wink

I suppose Ayatollah Khamenei was unavailable.

(Yes, I am aware that the Iranians prefer the Badr Brigades to the Mahdi Army...)

The picture of Putin as Peter the Great brought a smirk to my face.
