They need to remove Trump and move on.

He is a net-negative at this point and Republicans will likely get more things done with Pence (although stupid, but doesn't bring the chaos that Trump brings.)

Lmao.

Did these people not pay attention to what Trump was saying in 2015 and 2016?

How many times do we have to hear he is freaked out over Mueller before he loses any benefit of the doubt?

Infighting. Far worse than under Obama, even among Democrats who eventually lost seats under him.

Maybe that reflects the lack of political acumen of President Trump. The Republicans were extremely unified in tearing down Obama. But Trump can;t unite them.

Trump and McConnell themselves threaten aspects of the GOP agenda.

I could see Transportation Secy. Elaine Chao resigning soon. Her husband, the Kentucky senator, would not want his wife working for a man that he does not have a good relationship as of now.

You know, aside from Trump complaining about the Russian election thing, they're both right about each other.

They won't do that because the size of the GOP base loyal to Trump is large enough that if they decided to primary incumbents or refuse to turn out for them, then the party would collapse. Trump would have to completely implode among his base and/or be indicted for that to happen.

Trump is going to have nowhere as many Republican accomplishments as Bill Clinton.
