Oh man, this makes me so sad. Radiolab just did a "From the Archives" of when they interviewed him on the periodic table. I remember listening to it when it came out but he is just so delightful that I had to hear it again.

They said he wasn't doing well in the preface of the show but I didn't think it was this bad. Farewell to a wonderful human being.
