Lanarkshire only narrows it to 55.02-44.98. Margin of ~165,000.

I'm calling this for No now. Glasgow/Edinburgh is highly unlikely to overturn this.

Perth and Kinross was a substantial loss for the Yes camp.  The rumor is that Glasgow is coming soon and it is a Yes win.
It's a safe yes area, but the margin just isn't going to be big enough to overcome the rest of Scotland. I'd be very, very surprised if yes somehow catches up.

Glasgow only narrows it to 54.34-45.66. That's just pathetic.

Looks like my 53-47 prediction was actually pretty close to accurate, Edinburgh may make it exactly that.

BBC: NO needs 566,613 (more) votes to win.

The way North and South Lanarkshire voted reminds me of how North and South Carolina voted for President in 2008 when the North went narrowly for Obama and the South marginally for McCain.
SC was McCain +9....In fact it was the 2nd state to be universally called for him, trailing only KY.

No: 54.28
Yes: 45.72

Edinburgh and Fife still out, so this should narrow some more.

What gave you that idea?
A while back, someone (not me) said a big margin in Edinburgh could change things:

This is odd..why does Guardian have 26 regions in, but BBC only 24? It's like they (BBC) stopped updating the site once they called the race.

Moray even lower Yes vote (42,4%) than Angus (43,7%). Its interesting that those two are that low.

Only 4 Yes areas out of 32. (Parts of) Greater Glasgow + Dundee.

Orkney best Yes, Dundee best No.
Orkney was best No...

Any idea what's keeping Highland from reporting?
