Which incumbent Lt. Governor would perform the best as a candidate for president. Discuss.

Not Pennsylvania's, that's for sure.

Amy Tuck (MS) would make a really strong candidate.  She's a populist and cares about the poor (she was one of the main people behind the failed grocery-tobacco-tax-swap), unlike our sorry excuse for a governor.

Uh, she'd be the best ever...and she's crazy enough to run for the Presidency, too.

I was thinking along the ine of Jim Risch, because he actually has some brief experience governing.

She's hot enough to run for President, that's for sure.

By the way, she'll make a great Governor when Pawlenty leaves to serve as Vice President.

Is it sad that I really can't name a Lt. Governor that isn't my own?

Jim Folsom might be remotely qualified.

Didn't she used to be a Democrat?

Fictional Politics: On "24" the Lt. Governor of California, Charles Logan, a Republican, was the 2008 Vice Presidential nominee with Minnesota Senator John Keeler. They were elected and after President Keeler was killed, Vice President Logan became President.

The only Lt. Governors I can name are the ones from Illinois and Pennsylvania. The latter only because the eight billion Pennsylvanians on this forum consistently mock her.

The only ones I can name are Garamendi, Risch, and Ramsey (the latter only because of Htmldon's post).

They'd understand if she somehow became Governor. I'd love every minute of it.

Is it really worth of the sacrifice of actually living under that kind of administration? I can see it now...

Is CBK actually planning on running in 2010? A primary between her and Little Casey would be certainly entertaining, to say the least.

Yeah, there really isnt any way in which she would be able to, let alone win. Tongue (She is 76, by the way, and will be 80 by the time of the election)

Jim Folsom should be impeached or resign, he's not fit to be the Lt. Governor. Especially after the stunts he's pulled this year. Apparently he can't hear or see anyone calling for a roll-call vote (as has happened twice, so far this session). Once, with the 62% pay increase & second, with killing two bills that according to State Law MUST be dealt with.

No, she's not planning on it. I only joke, saying there is a slight chance because she's crazy enough to do it because...well...she's crazy enough. A primary between her and Casey would be absolutely hilarious. He'd kick ass but it would be funny to watch those two go at it.
