#NeverTrump considering placing another person in nomination for Vice President against Mike Pence
Why wouldn't they like Pence?

Because of Trump and some other things that he has done. But Pence will like survive would have been interesting had Trump picked Reek Christie or Newt.

Guys Flynn is fine
Honestly the democrat snark on Atlas is becoming nearly unbearable.  I was hoping Atlas would be better for watching the election than the sites I watched it with in '12 and '08, but it's just the same democrats making hollow, snarky, low-investment comments and lack of real discussion.

Might be leaving this site soon, tbh.  It's pretty disappointing.

It was terrible and I am not close to being a Democrat. Outside of Rudy it has been a very weak opening to convention to say the least.

Well that was awful. America deserves better than having to listen to same old Hillary sucks speech five times an hour. Moderates and indy's might want to listen to some actual ideas to make America better.

This also shows how incompetent Trump is when compared to Hillary. The Democrats pretty much lined up and told Sanders to walk off a cliff if he did not endorse before the convention. Trump allowed Cruz to nuke him at his own convention without even getting a promise of an endorsement before Cruz committed to the speech

The time when the GOP has the ability to control what Ted Cruz does will be the first time.

What happened was entirely on the Trump campaign for letting Ted Cruz do what Ted Cruz does.

At this point it may be prudent for Romney, Kasich, Bush and other Republicans to endorse Johnson. Why?

Simple.

Endorsing Johnson will prevent Trump from winning, and avoid the incoming decimation of the GOP. Clinton will become POTUS, GOP wins 2018 midterms and set themselves up for redistricting in 2020, securing the next decade in the House. Electing Trump will mean massive losses in 2018 and 2020, to a point where I'm not certain the GOP will be able to regain footing given demographic trends.

They could make the endorse as an attempt to protect the country from Trump and Clinton. Endorsing him may be enough to get him on the debate stage if not win a state.

I kind of expect Jeb to endorse Johnson, maybe Romney as well. Not like they have any political future to care about anymore and they would be endorsing a pair of former GOP governors.

Heidi Cruz had to be escorted out by security, with delegates yelling that she was a Goldman Sachs whore up in her face.

As opposed to Trump, who has a Goldman Sachs partner running financing for his campaign?

Republican convention-goers are too stupid for words. I'm starting to come around to the point of view than wants to see Hillary go Cersi Lannister on the RNC.

He is more then that, rumors are Trump wants to make him the Treasury Secretary.

Seems like Ivanka is just inserting policies into Trump's campaign platform that he has never once even mentioned. It's gross.

She clearly is all about these policies but yeah Trump has never mentioned most of these things.

Ivanka is definitely closer to being a Democrat than a Republican.

I hate when people say shlt like this as if someone else needs to analyze what you are.  If you're a Republican, you're a Republican.  Regardless of your views.  She's a Republican.

If she was a Republican she would have voted for him in the NY primary. I have no idea what she is other than somebody that is supporting her father.
