Rowling and Nature can't be considered a person. Who cares about Rick Warren? Steve Jobs had has employees create the iPod...in 2003... Bill Gates is just in there because he is rich. The Valerie Plame story is the most overdiscussed piece of "news" I've heard this year. Pope Benedict XVI...yeah, a guy was choosen by a bunch of guys chosen by a guy who he was a friend of to push an ultraconservative christian agenda.  The Google Guys...such an innovation! Without the Google Guys we would have to use *gasp* AskJeeves or Yahoo to find things. Bush and Rice... the incumbent man of the year and his bitch. That narrows down the playing field of decency in the finals bracket to Lance Armstrong and Bono. Bono has been quiet all year except for some pitiful U2 songs that brought my opinion of the man down.

What will get it: Mother Nature
Who on this list should get it: Lance Armstrong
Who not on this list should get it: Peter Jennings (or the few respectable reporters left in general), Iraqi Voters, or Pope John Paul II.
