I have a hard time believing the diaper baby is actually going to lose. Even if he goes into the runoff heavily behind, he'll just need to run a few "Edwards = Obama!11!!!!" ads for a comfortable win. The Brownback template.

Here's hoping I'm wrong though.

That card is getting old, and the only word worse than "Obama" or "Democrat" now in Louisiana seems to be "Vitter".

Yeah, because as a governor, Edwards could totally vote to support Obama's policies in Congress.

That "prostitutes above patriots" ad is only going to backfire on Edwards's campaign, unfortunately.

So Republicans get to run ads like this against Democrats, but once a Democrat returns the favor, they "cross the line"?

I like the grid that seems to have formed with MT/CO/MN/MO/LA

And yeah Walker (AK) is basically a Republican so

Still incredibly pathetic that Dems lost Maryland.  Unlike Massachusetts, the Dem base here is pretty unswingable and any Democrat should be able to win here regardless of the political environment.
